Although the guy behind the counter is really nice and really helpful in pretty much ANYTHING you need... but i gota say...there's always only 2 guys in the shop and the lines are always out the door....
fair enough you'll get cheaper parts and cheaper than the big retailers on mostly everything... but please for the sake of god hire another 2 people behind the counter!!!!!!
Well I come here too often and one thing that I know is that the people don't give a damn about you but they give amazingly good prices though lines are so long.

Great prices, poor service. The staff won't bother to help you so only come here if you know what computer equipment you are going to get. The store is not that "pretty" but after all, it is for cheap computer parts for real computer "nerds".

One of my regular stores for computer hardware. Great pricing and variety BUT be prepared to queue up for a long time. Don't expect much service here. The pricing makes up for this and it is recommended that research the parts you want to buy and they do not offer delivery even for online orders.
Great price, good range BUT no personalised service. The products I have bought from this store have all met expectation and been at great prices, but without my own research and a pre-selected list of what I am after I think I would be lost in this store.
Also they get huge lines of customers at busy times (pretty much out the door of the shop) so with this great demand is where the personal touch is lost.
All in all I recommend the store to those who know what they are after.
MSY always offer the good deals on computer part however customer service is quite not good. You need to queue around half hour to get your item. Location is a bit hard to find.
don't go there expecting to get any advice. do your research beforehand but it is cheaper than other places. they do have a % surcharge for CC

Reduce the ques at the shop by ordering on line and picking it up from the shop. You do need to know what you are after. They do have the best prices in town.
There are always ridiculous lines that start every day from even before the store opens, which probably only goes to show that these guys are one of the cheapest in town, but it does mean that you really need to do your research before heading in to the store.
if you are looking for computer parts, make sure you visit their website first. they beat the transitional electronic stores by 20-30%. check the website before visiting the store as they update the price frequently. and remember to do research first because the staff wont offer any help
You can't get everything either you get cheap stuff or you get good service and you pay price for it. Everything here is cheap and highly competitive. If you know what you are looking for in Computers this is the place to be in. But if you expect the staff to advise then forget it.
no doubt about msy being the best PC part seller around. service is bad and the staff generally dont speak much english. the long queues are a pain if your in the rush but if your after a bargain then this is the place to go.
Good place to get cheap prices. If you're looking for service or help on components look elsewhere. These guys expect you to know exactly what you're after when you eventually get served. Half the time they don't have stock for the item you're looking for (even though I overheard someone in another line being told the exact opposite). The "shop" is also quite cluttered and stuffy.
VERY CHEAP PRICES! But can always be better. Customer service is horrible and shop looks disgusting. They are very unproffesional! Waiting time is around 1hr just to get a single part. I DO NOT RECOMMEND the company at all unless you're after a bargain. But even so, I would rather shop elsewhere for a few $ extra for the better service
only ONE of the cheapest store selling cheap pc products, but there are better. Due to their incredibly bad service, their reputation is definitely a downside in service. Waiting up to 2 hours to get 1 item is ridiculous. I do not recommend anyone there unless you have the time to spare.
Overall, the most cheapest computer parts store in Sydney. There are others who occassionally beat their prices but if you want to go to an all rounder cheapest parts store, this is it. Problem with this place is the horrendous business structure and customer service. Expect very long waiting times especially at peak periods as some customers ask for tons of computer advice which the sales rep cannot handle. Waiting period is usually around 15mins-1.5hrs at peak times.
MSY is hands down the cheapest hardware sellers i have found.
But most of the time i would rather pay an extra $10 on an item to get it elsewhere because their service is very poor. I have called a few times to see if they have stock, because when you get there it will take you a while to be served and i am sick of getting tot he counter and them telling me they are out of stock.
This has happened a few times for me even AFTER calling and asking them to put one aside for me (which they agreed to do).
The staff were more focused on getting you out of the store with the goods than actually providing friendly service.
I have to average my experience at MSY as being 3. Their customer service is definitely below par but the prices they offer are simply incredible. The products i have bought from there mutliple times have all been in great condition and i havent had a problem yet (touch wood). The best way to get to MSY in Auburn is to take the Silverwater Rd Exit (heading west away from the city). Make sure you get there with plenty of time to spare because sometimes you could be waiting for 15min - 1hour. I would recommend using MSY for people being quite literate already with PC's as it is best to get your parts from in store. They dont offer shipping either so everything is pickup (note i havent bought a premade PC from them before). Hope this review helps!
