They place i go to for all my computer needs, very friendly and helpful staff and if they don't stock what you need they go out of their way to find it for you, have been here many times and have had my problems solved each and every time, wide range of stock and a lot cheaper than most computer stores, defiantly a place i will recommend
This is an awesome shop for all your computer and technology needs. Selling brand named items and parts to make up your own computer or to buy name brand laptops or desktops this is the place for you. Also selling items for your digital tvs etc. The prices are better and lower than traditional electrical stores and they are willing to order what you want for the best price. Nothing is too much trouble for the customer.
Check them out next time you need a gadget or a bit or a computer.
I looked around for a new laptop and was recommended MSY. It's where a lot of IT geeks shop because they sell at fantastic prices. My new laptop, which is just a cheapie Lenovo, was only $550 after the cashback deal. It was advertised elsewhere for 20-50 more than that.
I definitely recommend doing your homework before you purchase anything, but this store should be high on your list of places to price compare because chances are they will be the cheapest. They are also friendly and answer after sales questions with patience and accuracy.
These guys are good if you are a PC builder who can troubleshoot and resolve your own issues. Essentially the provide good quality products at excellent prices but the after sales support is as good as the troubleshooting you can perform.
Similar business model to people who may have come across other businesses in the east coast like Umart Online. The uy in bulk and offer no frills DIY pricing. I am aware that you can pay a small premium for them to build your stuff for you (no experience personally, but I know others who've been happy with that service) but as I tinker I've enjoyed the prices they offer with little complaint.
The cheapest computer store in Adelaide by miles! Needed to buy a new wireless modem, they were the same price as the cheapest online store and that is without considering I would've had to pay $10 postage on top. The prices are AMAZING and won't be beaten! As previously mentioned you want to know what you need so you can pop in and pick it up, it does get busy and the staff members are always flat out, so do your research before hand.
I have purchaced a number of products from this store and always wondered how warranty would be handled. I then had a Antec power supply blow up on me after 4 weeks. I took it back and they swapped it over on the spot. I couldn't ask for any better.

Well this is a review of my local MSY store. But my friends around Australia report the same kind of experience. If you are after anything for your computer needs these folks are the cheapest by far. However many folks know this so the store is packed out at lunch and after work. Download the price list and know what you want before you go!
They supplied me with a great laptop and hard drive that are still working fine- for about half the retail price i'd get anywhere else.
This company is all about low prices. They have sacrificed good staff so that people who know what they are doing can go in there,get what they want and buy it for a low price. It is one of the best computer stores round but you should know what you are doing before you go there.
Very cheap and the quality of the goods you buy is great. It's a good place if you want to build a new computer with their great range of products. Only downside is the website layout.
The shop and customer line is efficient and flows smoothly when they have a large number of customers, you really need to know what you want to buy though before hand, the reason why they tend to be cheaper then other stores is that they don't provide advice and are a no-frills store. Staff are a bit autistic too and some have raise issues with warranty and returning things but the thing to look at is price.
This place is great if you're looking to buy a new computer they will definitely help you out if you are looking for a new computer or parts to your computer.
Best prices in town. Make sure you know what you want first before going into the shop. Better still, order ahead on-line and save yourself from queuing up. Don't expect the staff to answer lots of your questions while you are there as they are mostly expect you to have done your research.
Great prices, decent products, but not always in stock, and no time frame for when they will be. if you do your research on the product first, then go in and get it, you will love it.
i was about to buy a d link from a local store when my son told me to check with msy,did so and found i could get the same name d link at almost half the price of the local store
Great range of computer products at the unquestionably lowest prices in adelaide. Best for those that no what they want because it can be busy and hard to get to talk to the staff, so I recommend knowing what you want before going.
Great priced goods, good variety of brands and catagories. I purchased the components for my new computer there, and found everything I wanted in the same store at a good price.
