Dont trust movee

I would never recommend this business. It was a nightmare and if I could go back in time I could. As soon as they pulled up in four vans I was very worried as they told me it would be one truck.

They were very rude, 2 of them acted like they didn't speak English. They started trying to say things to my young 4 year old daughter but I asked them to stop and removed her from the situation.

After 5 hours of them moving everything onto the vans I followed beyond them to our new house. Sadly they took many wrong turns which took us a long time to get there. I had no way of telling them they are going the wrong direction expect honking the horn. But everytime I honked at them they would start swerving all over the road!!!

Very very disappointing.

Rubbish

movee were a nightmare to deal with.
Despite being allocated a 1-3 PM time slot, the movers failed to arrive on time. We received no update. I made repeated calls to the company, only to be connected late in the afternoon. Attempts to contact the movers directly were similarly unproductive, with one mover advising the move “may be after 6 PM.” My direct calls to the movers for updates were ignored. My husband waited at our apartment from 1pm till 6pm. By the evening, I was informed the move would take place at 10 PM—a completely unreasonable time for us and our neighbours, especially as I am pregnant and cannot coordinate a move into the early hours of the morning.

After rescheduling for 7 AM the following day, the movers arrived on time but worked at an excessively slow pace. Despite having a relatively small number of items, the move took over 8 hours. This is unacceptable and indicative of inefficiency.

• Furthermore, I provided clear instructions during booking regarding the availability of street parking and the presence of a staircase. Despite this, your movers blamed delays on these factors as they arrived with two vans (no truck). While I acknowledge the oversight of not fully emptying the fridge, this alone does not justify the prolonged duration of the move.

Your movers dropped and broke one of my weights, damaged our garden archway, and chipped the pedestal of my marble table. This level of carelessness is unacceptable and has caused avoidable financial and emotional distress.

The entire process was poorly managed, causing massive unnecessary stress and anxiety. Moving is difficult enough in the best of circumstances but the lack of communication and the inefficiency causing excessive expense compounded this difficulty. I expect better from a professional moving company.

I have tried to contact Movee directly however emails have been ignored.w

They made me work hard for them and didn’t pay me for it

Movee use subcontractors for the jobs. My business Prime Transport Group, worked hard, got awesome reviews from their customers and Movee didn’t pay me for the job. I’m waiting to get paid $3000 . They are not human

I regret to say that my experience with MOVEE has been highly disappointing and frustrating. After a detailed phone conversation with Customer Support at MOVEE, I expected a smooth and efficient moving service. However, my expectations were far from met.

Unreliable Service and Unfair Charges

Arrived 2.5 hours late, causing major disruptions.
Truck size much smaller than agreed, leading to extra trips.
Confusing and inconsistent billing process.

Unauthorized Charges and Privacy Concerns

Stored credit card info without consent.
Unauthorized deductions from my account.
Credit card details privacy breach with third-party involvement.

Unresponsive Customer Support

Attempts to resolve met with dismissive attitude.
Lack of accountability for service discrepancies.
Disheartening experience for a supposedly exciting move.

MOVEE needs to address these issues promptly and reconsider its customer service approach. This experience has turned a positive move into a disappointing and stressful event. Taking customer concerns seriously is crucial for any reputable company.

From a 3 bedroom apartment. 3 double size mattress 2 dressers and 2 glass top desks. 5 piece lounge, 1 long TV stand, washing machine and dryer and an 8 piece dining set 2 shelves and a buffet cabinet and a large fridge, 1 56" TV and 1 big box. NO STAIRS and long pieces easily passed through the balcony we were at the ground floor so the balcony is just like less than 2 meters from the garden grounds and the 3 long pieces from the lounge was easily moved out to the parking area through there. The movers said it was hard to navigate through the front door, thus passing through the balcony made it easier. In other words nothing out of the ordinary or complicated that it will take an extra bit of time to move.

Cost: Well after spending $1,008.00 for what was a 5.5hour job, they could not fit the dining table into their truck and left all the glass tops and desks because they wanted us to pay extra $300 to wrap the glass in bubble wrap on top of how long it will take them to wrap and move the glass. If I agreed to get it wrapped and moved, it would have not fit anyways into their truck. Note the place we were moving to was a 10 to 12 minute drive.

Over-All Experience: NOT GOOD. Regretting the expense. I moved twice in the past 5 years and with the same amount of furniture and appliance - we did it ourselves as we own a courier van and our son would help in carrying. We'd move these stuff in less than a day and thats several trips to and from our old place which takes 25 mins each trip. This time my son wasn't available so I decided to hire movers and perhaps take the less strenuous path and pay someone else to do all these. What a waste of money! Because I still have some items to move, the glass top desks, dining table, and TV's so I don’t think I got good value for my money.
