Hadley and the team have been managing 2 of my cheap investment properties for a few years now and helped me temporarily rent my home out when I needed a tenant for a short period.
I got Hadley on board to take over from another agency that promised the world and talked all the talk but proved to be wildly incompetent.
Since mortar and soul took over the managements my stress levels have dropped 98% and contrary to another review on here, I’ve found Hadley has a long list of contractors on call that represented great value and were cheaper than good mates of mine were going to charge for maintenance items when needed. I’m well aware that my properties would represent a much lower yield for mortar and soul but they’ve always made me feel like a VIP million dollar client.

Hadley of Mortar+Soul has been looking after our property since 2016 and his service levels have far exceeded our expectations consistently to date. We believe the level of care he dispenses is far better than if i were to look after my own property. M+S services are prompt and cost effective. Rents achieved have been reasonably high compared to market. We are extremely happy with the level of service provided by Hadley.

I was unsure about needing the services of a managing agent for my rental property as I had so many issues in the past with agents not following through with their promises. Having Hadley at Mortar and Soul help me with my property management puts my mind at ease. His extensive real estate experience means that he absolutely knows the market and the legalities of what can and can’t be done in relation to breaches and rent increases (and potential decreases for the time of the market).
Always goes above and beyond and gives more of his time than is expected.

Last year we sold and bought a new property through Hadley. He was with us through the whole process and made it easy.
What we were looking for was very distinct, so he made numerous reports on properties we never bought, helped us avoid properties, that could have been a nightmare. No matter the time of the day, we could always reach him and get a honest response.

If we had to sell our house again in the future, their is no doubt we would use Hadley.

Terrific experience dealing with Hadley and Joanne throughout my tenancy. I was impressed by the level of professionalism they both showed while still taking the effort to ensure that they remained approachable, well informed and friendly representatives of Mortar and Soul.

Fast response time when required - at the start of my tenancy I found myself at 9pm on a Friday night with the house system alarm being triggered and not knowing how to disarm it. Hadley and Joanne both got back to me within a 10 minute time frame and managed to locate the code for me almost immediately, despite the late hour and being put on the spot at the time.

Hadley has always delivered on everything he has offered to do and have done and within the timeframe promised. I haven't had a single issue with him or the company in about 2 and-a-half years. Top shelf service and a good bloke too.

Hadley has looked after my property for the past 7 years. He has always going out of his way to make both myself as the landlord and the tenants work well together. Inspections are done on time, remnants are happy and he always tries to save money on both sides. I would strongly recommend Hadley for his personal service and commitment to his customer.
