Wedding anniversary. Chose MIkes Grill because they are always great. Not tonight. Have been looking forward to oysters for 3 months. Sorry, there are none. Girl serving food from the counter could not stop scratching her legs, face,hair and serving food. Not a good look when it comes to the health department. Some employee training needs to be done.
Decided to try Mike's weekly specials tonight. We were not greeted or seated, after waiting about 5 minutes for anyone to serve us we had to get up and find our own menus. Female worker greeted us with 'so what do you want?' so rudely. When I asked to repeat the order she abruptly responded 'What you don't think I got it all?' I told her I was just making sure as she didn't write our order down. She repeatedly the order is such a smart manner with serval eye rolls. She also slammed our food down on the table. The food was okay considering it was $10. Would not recommend anyone going to Mike's Grill, you would get better service at McDonalds.
Had a great dinner here not too long ago.
The service was outstanding and the food came out quickly (which was good as we were starving).
We both had steaks, which were cooked exactly as we had requested.
Don't be put off by the location - the food at this place is fantastic! This is a regular for us (at least once a month) They make the BEST eye fillet (to your liking) bar none! Cooked to perfection, with your choice of veges, chips or salad. Another favourite is the Spaghetti with King Prawns (cooked with shallots and soy) FANTASTIC!! Book ahead, because leaving it to the last minute, you won't get in. A bit noisy in the "outside covered area" but inside (carpeted area) more pleasant and less noise. Either way, the food's fantastic, never had a disappointing meal.
