I attended this store with my best friend and mum one time when shopping around for wedding gowns. I was so impressed with the service! The sales lady assisting us was friendly natured who did her absolute best to show me gowns which met my requirements and tastes. She was patient, truly listened to me and gave me some good suggestions of what dresses would suit me.

At all times the sales lady was not pushy and didn't give me the hard sell, but rather showed us many gowns, gave good advice.

The store has a huge range of dresses to suit many tastes and price tags too.

The fitting rooms were large and comfortable, giving me ample space to put on the dress. I have been to other bridal stores where space was very limited, making it awkward.

Prices were reasonable, about $2000 to $3000 for the dresses that I had really liked.

My advice is to make an appointment in advance so you can be seen by a sales assistant, as they get very busy on Saturdays.

BOM staff are just amazing. Nothing was too much hassle. I rang two weeks before my wedding desperate for an appointment after my original wedding gown was destroyed by a woman who altered it. They fit me in for the Monday before my Saturday wedding and I walked out of there with a stunning Elzabeth de Varga gown off the rack. I even talked them down in price as the dress needed drycleaning.
The sales staff were amazing, always fussing over me, they truly made me feel like a bride unlike other bridal store staff who make you feel inadequate.

Brides of Melbourne has an extensive range of bridal dresses. Most brides who go in their end up falling in love with a dress. I went there during their annual sale in January so good a good price on my dress. I did manage to talk them down a bit more as well as I got adress straight from the rack and it was missing two buttons. The staff do try and drive the sale a bit but most of their opinions were accurate

BOM is THE place to get your wedding gown from! I had been with friends who experienced rude sales staff at some stores and had felt horrible for the experience. When I went to BOM it was an ENTIRELY different experience. Luisa (my sales person) was AMAZING and I have told other friends to go to her. She was funny and knew her stuff, she dismissed every gown I chose for myself and made me try on her suggestion (I would never have choesn it myself) and then encouraged me to shop around..I went back and brought that first gown.
