Called John and was able to take 4 x knives to him in Moorabbin that afternoon - job complete in under an hour, great price and awesome sharpness on my knives now- thank you !

Wouldn’t recommend Master Sharp. Took three Zwilling kitchen knives to be sharpened and Jon wouldn’t give me a price and send me away. I thought knife sharpening is what they do

Based on the reviews I took my 45 year old dressmaking scissors and two cooks knives to be sharpened. The service was prompt, professional and efficient. John, has been sharpening our workers scissors for what must be close to 20 years and in all that time his service has been exemplary. Our business requires our quality equipment be in perfect working order and to this end John has been on a monthly rotation with us for years and over that time has never let us down. Jon was extremely helpful, and his primary concern was giving me great customer service, he actually talked me out of spending more money with him than I had to. Customer service like that is rare. Good dude.

I'm a collector of vintage and antique chef's knives from around the world (French, English, German, American), most are worth $250 to $500 + each. In my opinion, Jon is the finest craftsmen of his trade in this country. If you're serious about your knives as I am, or your vintage knives are irreplaceable due to their age and/or condition, you wouldn't risk them to anybody else.

Jon sharpened our kitchen block of knives from his van at the South Melbourne Market on the weekend. We had exchanged emails during the week so I knew how to easily find him. He did not charge a flat fee - but a fee per knife. He explained what he was doing as he did it. He even advised how to use the Steel I had - which I'd never used, at least not correctly. Would definitely use again.
