As an employee of a large commercial property maintenance company, I have used the services of Martin Place Locksmiths for several years (including key cutting, mailbox and cabinet keys to code, and general lock supply / installation / maintenance). During this time, I have found them to provide fairly cheap prices while maintaining a professional standard of work, and their members of staff have a friendly and helpful attitude. Best of all, their shop is right in the centre of the Sydney CBD, so it has been quick and easy to organise any work that needs to be done. I would strongly recommend them for commercial locksmith services in Sydney.
It was a pleasure doing business with Martin Place Locksmiths. During my initial call, they provided friendly assistance over the phone. After booking a job to install a deadlock in Paddington (I took up their WOMO offer), they were not only prompt, but also updated me when the locksmith was 30 minutes away. The locksmith that completed the job was courteous and polite, cleaned up after himself, and there were no hidden costs.
I lost the keys to my apartment in Darlinghurst late at night on a Tuesday. After calling around 10 locksmith companies, Martin Place Locksmiths were one of the only ones that answered! Not only that, but they also provided by far the cheapest price to open up and re-key the two locks on my front door. Joe arrived in around 25 minutes (as stated over the phone), and he got me back in and changed my key surprisingly quickly and efficiently. He was very friendly and helpful, and empathised with my situation. He also offered to cut me an extra key for free. I would strongly recommend these fine locksmiths to anyone looking for 24 hour emergency service in Sydney. Thanks Joe!
When living temporarily in Sydney, my laundry had no lock on the door, and was in a public place. I called MP Locksmiths, and told them about the problem, and there wasn't a huge rush as it wasn't a huge concern. Despite that, I had a man over the next day, finish the job quickly and to an amazing standard. Hugely recommended!
I called Martin place locksmiths and they came promptly and changed my lock and with it came 2 keys. The man was very friendly and proffessional and the keys work much better than the old ones. Fast service, good work and reliable!
I called up this firm simply based on the reviews here to install a deadlock on my apartment. They were honest and up-front about pricing and time scheduling. The whole time I felt respected and made to feel very comfortable. The overall price was the cheapest I found as well, and the locksmith who came over for the installation cleaned up after himself! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
Surprisingly fast (15 min to Sydney city) and very cheap compared to others! Great for late-night lockouts, if you get into the same hassle as me :)!
