MadCap Cafe

My husband and I shop at Fountain Gate and at times stop for a light lunch or coffee, the Madcap cafe is always a great stop. The service is good and very friendly and food tastes great. It is also good to see that people who are not well can be employed and are able to function to the best of their
ability

Love the cakes, love the experience. I especcially love what the cafe is all about. They provide work for people with mental illness (mostly depression I think) and it's just so nice that there is somewhere for those people to work where they can get the extra support they need in the workplace. As I am constantly surrounded by effects of this illness, it really touches my heart. The staff are always friendly and the food/drinks are high quality.

Only place we have a coffee at Fountain Gate. The service is outstanding, friendly, very relaxing and hard to get a table at all times. Great coffee and good selection of cakes!!

It's a nice quiet place to sit and have a coffee. They sell sandwiches, cakes, muffins and also have a breakfast menu too. The breakfast was nice and filling. The service is great and I've never had problems.

Great coffee here! They have a great range of cakes, although they are incredibly overpriced for the tiny sliver you receive! They also have some nice croissants and foccacias, although more vegetarian options would be lovely.
