One of the best tastings we have done. Very informative and Brad made us make our own decisions about the taste of the wines with no pressure. This winery is a must do.

This small vinery was one of the best places I wont forget. I loved this place from the story of the name. The owners started from scratch with the land 20 years ego and they did a great job learning how to make wine cause the wines are very nice. The couple shared their great adventures with the wines they made. You have to listen the story from him yourself;)

Lucy's Run is my favourite winery in the Hunter Valley! John is such a genuine, friendly and enthusiastic guy and you feel hugely welcome - like you're an old friend popped over for a few drinks and nibbles.

The wines are delicious as is the olive, and dukkah - and there are always generous servings of all of them! John takes his time with you and there is no pressure and rush, and it is just overall a fantastic experience.

I have been here twice and both times have enjoyed it greatly. Lovely people, fantastic wine and not far from home which makes it even better for me! The wine is very reasonably priced for great quality. It is a must if you are in the Hunter.

I regularly visit Lucy's Run as part of my Hunter Valley tours, and, without trying to sound too biased, this place is the highlight of my day.

It's not flashy or fancy, but it doesn't need to be, because the reasonably priced wines that they produce speak loudly for themselves, and the hospitality we receive from John is warm, welcoming & always interesting.

Being well travelled himself, John relates well to our passengers who come from all around the world, and this just adds to the charm of the place.

I can honestly say that if you're in the Hunter, you should do yourself a favour & drop by Lucy's Run. It's not on any of the local wine tour brochures, and is genuinely "word of mouth", so we feel privileged to go there.

Went for a cellar sampling as part of a tour. Esther (?) was really nice, and very friendly. A homely cellar door experience. Wines were of superb quality, tending towards the light side. Fell in love with the Verdelho dessert wine ('ice wine') despite the more costly price tag.

Olive oil was beautifully light though a little overpowered by the Dukkah. I preferred tasting just bread with the oil, but I'm weird that way. XD
