George was an excellent instructor. Without his guidance, I would not have passed my driving exam! He helped me break my bad driving habits and taught me how to safely drive on the road. Would highly recommend Trent Driving school

Had about 6 lessons with driving instructor Bernie, and all of them were fantastic! Very easy going guy, a great driving instructor who picks apart your mistakes so they can be easily corrected, and always open to your questions about driving. Would recommend him 100%!

I had an excellent experience with Steve from L-Trent!! After waiting until age 29 to start lessons I was a bit nervous to start off, Steve is very clear and calm in his instruction and it's testament to him that I passed first time!!

After a handful of disastrous driving lessons with family, followed by ten years sitting on my Ls, I was nervous about finally learning to drive. To say I was a hopeless student is an understatement. I didn’t know which pedal was which, I kept trying to turn the wheel in reverse like a joystick, and watching The Fast and the Furious made me cry uncontrollably.
However, thanks to my L Trent instructor, Bernie, those days are behind me, after I passed my test last week on the first try.
Our first lesson involved practicing accelerating and braking in a quiet back street (a process which would have looked baffling to the local residents). By lesson two, I had grasped the subtle art of turning left at 2km/h. My driving style would have been best described as ‘tentative,’ ‘meandering’ and ‘timid,’ and a lesser instructor would have given up and begged for re-assignment. However, a year later I am driving with confidence, thanks to Bernie’s infinite patience and understanding.
The L Trent curriculum is very comprehensive, and the workbook covers everything with clear instructions and diagrams. Having things explained clearly is a huge benefit. Trying to drive with family, I was given vague advice like “just drive, it’s not hard, even idiots can drive, what’s wrong with you?” The L Trent system doesn’t expect you to be able to “just eyeball it,” but actually explains how, in a plain and sensible way. Some of the tips will stay with me forever – for instance, at crossings, don’t intimidate the pedestrians (as I say, the pedestrians should be worried about intimidating me).
Of course, the best thing about learning to drive with L Trent was Bernie. Over the past year he has been the best instructor imaginable. Bernie is full of useful advice, like the benefits of slowing down for speed humps (they’re called speed humps, Bernie, not slow humps). He also laughs at my jokes, which was worth the price of admission by itself.
I would recommend L Trent and particularly Bernie to anyone learning to drive, but especially people who are deeply incompetent. Thanks Bernie for all your help, and apologies for all the stress medication you’re probably taking after spending a year with me.

What an experience!! I used to drive overseas but need someone to tell me what I can and can't do while driving in Sydney. Nic is the best! He's so patient in answering all my questions and reminding me the same thing over and over again. I passed my driving test on the first attempt. Yayyy!!

Had my Trent instructor Joe almost since day 1 of my L's and has taught me the skills needed to safely avoid and prevent accidents, as well as always have an escape in those situations. Which allowed to pass my p's test first go. I would recommend anyone to the Trent driving school.

Very great driving school had really help improve my driving I have booked my test for a week and a half time. Learning with Trent had really helped my confidence with driving !
