Our tired adjoining living rooms needed a new lease of life to give them the dignity that they deserve. I did not want to throw everything out and start again but I did need assistance to pull the area together around the pieces we have owned and loved for a long time.
Loop Interiors ticked so many of the boxes with a sustainable approach that sat well with me.
Teresa from Loop Interiors listened and communicated exceptionally well and understood what I wanted. I couldn’t do it on my own and with Teresa’s skill we were able to meld old and new for a timeless look.
New lighting, great carpet choice and re-upholstery using fabulous fabric paired with more contemporary pieces; we got the balance right between old pieces and new pieces, and new pieces that are inspired by the old.
Teresa managed the project in a calm professional way that resulted in a brilliant space that is better than what I dreamed of.

Our apartment has been completely transformed thanks to Teresa. We met 2 years ago now and I was immediately impressed with her communication, organisation and feel for materials. I soon arranged a site visit and provided a wish-list of improvements for, essentially, a complete makeover of our older, high-rise apartment. The job would touch every space - kitchen, bathroom, ensuite, laundry, both bedrooms, walk-in-robe, entry, living and dining areas.

Teresa responded with a fixed price plan that explained the process and what we'd get from this design phase. It included a full set of plan and elevation drawings, schedule of materials, fittings and samples. She was super patient with me going through everything in detail, querying and suggesting things. We had no fixed timeframe to do the build so could spend as long as we liked getting everything right on paper.

As a separate next phase, Teresa handled 3 rounds of quoting, with some design tweaks in between, and with 2 lots of 3 contractors. After round 3 we had the locked in design, brought the cost down, selected a contractor and set the start date. Just had get ready to vacate for 7 weeks and start sourcing the things we were to get ourselves.

Teresa also sourced some materials on our behalf, like the selected tiles and handles. I don't think she ever stopped refining the selections if she found something that would work that little bit better, and I quickly learned to trust her selections, they were always good as the end result shows.

Through the 3rd and final engagement for the build phase, Teresa provided oversight of the job and design liaison to the contractor for us. She had a number of site meetings, many phone calls and emails, and did some necessary design tweaks. Time and materials invoicing was clear and timely through this phase and even under budget. Problems and changes seemed to be minimised as the designs were so complete, but it still really helped smooth the work and address the things that inevitably come up.

Teresa clearly loves what she does and was a pleasure to work with. The whole experience, although a lot of work, was still very enjoyable and smoother than I expect for any building project. Could hardly have asked for more and we love our "new" place.

Teresa is really flexible and accommodating with her time. She took care to understand what we were needing assistance with, our style and what would be achievable for us. She had great ideas and options for ways we could improve the look and feel of our home, being mindful of our environmental footprint. Highly recommend!

I was fortunate to meet Teresa recently and she came to our house to help me plan the bathroom. I was very overwhelmed with magazine photos and having been to various tile stores which can me conflicting advice. I really love the art deco style and Teresa was able to pull that all together with tile selection and layout and colour schemes. Teresa was very professional and really worked within budget. Working with Teresa was a pleasure as Teresa was always very pleasant to deal with and was always happy to look
into our ideas, no matter how far fetched they were. We always felt that Teresa was helping with our vision and
not overlaying it with what she thought was best. In fact Teresa managed to save us about $2,000 with alternative
options that meet our ideas but was much cheaper than our original plans.

Teresa made an initial visit to our home and then supplied a colour scheme which would work with the character of our home. From selecting tiles and carpet to taps and bench tops, Teresa made it all so easy for us. She never hurried us for decisions, brought samples to our home and was an absolute pleasure to work with. I have been struggling with designing my new kitchen for over 1 year and didn't want to replace the kitchen with the same old design. I had Teresa come and measure up the space and I told her what I liked and didn't like.
I was surprised at the designs Teresa come up with, she definitely can think 'outside the box'. I got more than I expected with over 6 new fresh ideas and designs including colors. The only problem now is which one to choose!

My partner and I were unsure wether to go ahead and engage an interior designer because we thought it was an extra cost. Teresa never pushed she listened suggested how her advice and expertise could save us money and honoured us taking our time to decide.

We did engage her advice and knowledge was great. She saved us when we were agonising over what colours to choose and because she was so in tune with us we engaged her again and again. Teresa was knowledgable on environmentally sound products from paints, fabrics, tiles. She gave me great advice regarding layout and our bathroom plans to make more efficient use of space. And she found beautiful fabrics from which to choose our finishing from. She has absolutely saved us money, and noodles of time.
