Site doesn't work. It should be removed from here. WOMOW should have a way of checking these things to remove defunct businesses.

A really Innovative business that will hopefully soon become an Australian household name. They offer alternative lighting options that are Safe for our Environment and for us too. They are Earth Friendly. Light bulbs, some fittings, LED lights etc. Some of the products cost a little but have a very LONG lifespan so in the end, they are good value also. AAA +++
They also offer the Government program that comes out and gives u a FREE Home Energy assessment on their website.

I have not bought any products from Long Life Lighting so rating quality and value are not so relevant but the customer service interaction I have had with the company has been amazing. Very personal and very willing to please - good old fashioned customer service.

Online order of products.
I also ordered the 15W equivalents, Matt R is wrong you can't expect multiple low light globes to be bright, would 100W of chrismas globes on the front of your car be as bright as a spotlight?
I don't think so.

Purchased Ba15d Candelabra LED stated to be equivalent to a 15w globe so got enough to replace all 6 sockets in my candelabra which should = 90w in total since currently i was only using 2 40w globes but they were much duller than the to 40w globes. they were happy to refund cant complain...

I purchased a long life LED light bulb at a trade show in Melbourne a few years ago but the bulb blew sooner than I had hoped so I contacted the company by email. They replied promptly and offered to replace it at no charge if I returned the faulty one, even though it would have been out of the warranty period. The replacement arrived in no time.

I have purchased a number of items from Long Life Lighting. These include down light Incasescent LED replacements. In general all the products have lived up to and exceeded expentations. One suggestion would be to also include some of the higher end CREE etc LEDs as a greater varity of products.

I ordered 1 LED warm white bulb and it arrived in a few days and worked well and still is. Later on I ordered 6 cool white LED bulbs and these all worked ok for a few weeks then 4 of them had varying degrees of failure, the 2 others are still working ok. I had to send 3 emails before I got any reply but they did offer to replace all 6 cool white bulbs when new stock came in and if they still didn't work properly to give me my money back. I am happy with this response as long as they replace the 6 bulbs as promised. I am happy with these bulbs as long as they work ok. Maybe they should do more testing with different transformers to make sure they work ok.

Bought a number of lights, including some heavily discounted units. Unfortunately the cheap bulbs died fairly quickly, but then again they *were* very cheap so no big loss! The more expensive bulbs are still going strong, so overall a thumb's up.

In February 2008 I wanted to replace my normal Halogen downlight globes with energy efficient lighting, while still maintaining my existing downlight fittings. The website stated that the LED lights would work wth all transformers. I purchased 4 lights as a trial, firstly because I didn't know whether I wanted warm or cool white and also to make sure that they worked correctly. In one room there are 4 fittings and as it turned out there was one old style transformer, one medium age and two new transformers. The LED's only worked on the old style transformer, flickered on the medium age transformer and didn't work at all on the new transformers. I sent an email with a please explain, and the reply was "We have not had that problem". In the end they offered to replace the globes with GU10 globes and I would pay for the GU10 fitting. As of yet I have not done this because I have been a bit skeptical about outlaying more money so that I have globes that I am told will work, I had previously been told that the first lot of globes would work!!!!

Want to use 94% less electricity??

We wanted to make some progress towards making our WOMOW office a green environment so I tracked down this company that sells Long Life energy efficient lighting products. We currently have some downlights which use 50 watt globes and Long Life Lighting sells replacement globes that use LED technology and only use 3 watts of electricity.

I ordered a small number of globes via their website just to test them out but when I received them in the mail there was a warning page in the box saying "these globes will not work with new electronic transformers". Because I knew the transformers we had for our Downlights were quite new I called the company. They confirmed the globes wouldn't work but they had a new model coming in September that would. I must admit I was a bit annoyed because this warning was not on their website however when I spoke to them they were very apologetic and said to send the globes back COD and they will ship the new model as soon as they come in.
