Lollipop's Playland & Cafe

I went to Lollipops Playland for the first time last weekend and the kids had a fantastic time . The slides Tea cup ride and jumping castle where a fantastic hit with the kids and the Coffee and slices where a hit for the Adults . The staff where helpful and friendly . What impressed me the most is that we have a Autistic son and their policy is that all children are equal and understood . This is because the owners have 2 autistic children and understand how hard it can be if a child is having a melt down . I can not thank u enough for the wonderful service we received. Well done

We attended our nephew's birthday party there. The kids had a great time. Lollipops has improved since the change in ownership. It was a lot cleaner, the service was good and the coffee was great!

I love coming to Lollipops. Great staff, great food, great time had by all. I would highly recommend it to all my friends and family.

Had a great time at the movie night last Friday. My kids had a ball, there was so much to keep them entertained - the play equipment, the movie plus a visit from B1 & B2! Can't wait to visit again.

Absolutely awesome. The 4 children (aged btw 2 and 5) were more than entertained at the special Movie/Play night. They watched parts of Despicable Me and in the other parts they were having a ball on the play equipment around the centre. For us adults we hardly saw our children. It was a pleasure for everyone. For us adults it gave us time to chat, enjoy a delicious meal (chicken schnitzel) and later a cuppa and just relax in a family friendly environment. For the kids, they just had 4.5 hours of total fun playing, watching the moving and eating tenders and chips for dinner and popcorn with the movie. The children didn't want to go home but it was 9.30 pm & near closing time. It was a great way to reward the two older children who commenced Kindergarten earlier that week and their younger siblings who were a little lost with not having their brothers around during the week. With regards to the staff they all worked well together to make the night a great success. All the staff deserve a pat on their backs for a fantastic job well done. We will be returning for some more enjoyable family fun.

I absolutely love coming to lollipops! As a single mother of 3 I don't really get a chance to sit and relax with a cuppa! But coming here the 2 bigger kids go play and 'get out of my hair' so to speak and the baby is happy too because I am able to relax with a cuppa! Will try to come as often as I can

Great menu with gluten free options, lots of entertainment for the kids although probably not enough staff on for the number of people ordering food, coffees etc.

It is great to have somewhere to go where u can sit back relax while ur little ones have an amazing time.. I have a 2yr old n a 4yr old, we go once a week and they love to go, the playground is great, the food is good value and the staff are very friendly..

These guys have really cleaned up their act. They are hard workers and are working with the local community to help out Mummies running small businesses too

absolutely amazing place. the new owners have done wonders repairing and cleaning it. The staff are alot nicer and the owners are also very welcoming and involved with the place. I had my son's birthday there the week before last and everyone loved it! the staff were amazingm food all came out right on time and they went out of their way to help in any way possible, They have markets every Thursday with kids entries only $10 with a FREE meal!! That is now our new weekly treat for the kids :-)

Lollipop's Kotara is a great place to take the kids for a play. It is clean, affordable, the service is great, there is a big range of healthy food on the menu and the coffee is delicious. My Mothers Group has met there a few times and all the mums and toddlers had a great time, everyone was talking about it afterwards and continues to go. We joke about how our kids always have the biggest sleeps after playing there! They get the best exercise! I'd recommend it to anyone. There is the section for 1-2 year olds, another section for 3 years and older, tea cup rides, birthday party rooms, cafe with lots of high chairs, clean toilets, a parking lot, friendly staff, everything you could need for a fun day. They also do discos, markets and special events. Have fun!

On entry it was noticeably cleaner and brighter than it used to be! My boys had a ball, enjoying both ends of the play areas! Service was friendly and quick. We will definately return!

The kids love this place and the food is great. Better than the other local kids play areas too.

Fantastic Playland with great customer service and Facilities. Our Children love it!!! I would recommend if you ever want to let the kids have a great day take them to lollipop's!

We'd heard there was a new owner so we decided to check it out. We hadn't been to Lollipop's for years as our last visit was not enjoyable at all.
We were surprised to see the play area was clean and equipment was in good condition. Blake the owner kept the kids entertained with tea cup rides as well as a bear hunt! The mums could relax & enjoy the great coffee and free Wi-Fi. I was so impressed, we came back with our Mothers Group a week later.

I have been taking my kids to lollipops for a couple of years and returned recently after hearing about the new ownership. I immediately noticed a difference in the cleanliness and overall feel of the place. The staff were fantastic and I love how Blake is involved with organising activities the children will enjoy so the parents can actually sit and enjoy a meal or coffee. The staff are courteous and very helpful. One benefit I found very appealing was being able to access free wifi so if I need to get work done I know I can get it done while the kids are entertained and happy. Am loving seeing all these changes and lollipops has become a regular family activity we can all enjoy.

I find that Lollipops is good, however it gets so crowded I always dread going to a weekend party there. As the children get a bit older it is easier, but I used to worry when they were out of sight. It is clean and easy to use. And the children really love the tea cup ride.

I think its a bit expensive, both entry and food. Not allowed to take your own food or drink, apart from water, in. I found it a little dirty and the staff more interested in chatting with each other.
There are better play centres in Newcastle in my opinion.

Great place for the kids to have a ball. Ability to supervise is easy with out needing to run around. When we went there was not many people so the atmosphere was a little dull.

Great play place for my little one, she can play while i sit back and watch, great range of toys and things to keep her occupied. The food there is a bit expensive but other than that a great place to take the kids.

good place to take my crew 11,10 and 3 there is something for them all without being ontop each other and i can just sit and have a coffee. food alittle pricey, but they got ya there

This is definately a great rainy day play place for small kids as well as bigger kids. I especially like that the little kids have a place to go where the big kids don't, that is hard to find. The food prices are a little high but the play centre and toys are great.

Love the fact the my kids can play in a safe and secure environment while I relax with a coffee. Great place to meet up with friends who also can't escape the kids! They also cater for birthday parties. Best of all, after all that running around, your pretty much guaranteed and early night!!!!
