Be the first to share your experience with Little Scholars Ormeau 2
Write the first reviewWhen was your business founded?
Little Scholars opened its first campus in 2014 and has grown to 17 campuses across South East Queensland.
What is your level of experience in this line of work?
Little Scholars was founded by a qualified early childhood teacher with more than 20 years in the sector, including a senior role at one of Australia's largest listed childcare providers.
What is your fee structure like? Fixed fees? Hourly rates?
Daily fees, not hourly. Most families are eligible for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), which reduces the out-of-pocket amount based on income and activity. We help families understand their likely subsidy before they enrol.
Are you a member of any professional / industry associations?
Yes, we're aligned with the Australian Childcare Alliance, the peak body for the sector. The group's founder serves as Vice President of ACA.
What is your favourite thing about your job?
Watching a child who clung to a parent at the gate in February walk in on their own by June. The confidence is the whole point.
What makes you unique compared to your competitors?
Our Family Time Program hands evenings and weekends back to working parents at no extra cost. That includes chef-prepared take-home meals at pickup, on-site haircuts, on-site doctor, dental, allied health and specialist appointments, extracurricular programs, nappies and wipes, and a daily digital portfolio through the parent app. Most centres ask families to fit life around care; we built care around family life.
How quickly can work be completed? What are your turnaround times? Do you offer same-day service?
Tours can usually be booked within a day or two, and we'll confirm available days quickly. Start dates depend on room availability and your preferred days we'll tell you honestly at the tour rather than after you've committed.
