Little Creatures Dining Hall

Always very busy. I went on a Saturday night and there was about a half an hour wait for a table. We just went to the bar area and had a couple of drinks whilst we waited. The atmosphere was fun, it was huge inside. Once we were seated we ordered some shared plates. My favorite was the pork sliders, they were delish!!! Definitely recommend checking this place out!

Unique indoor setting, it is just a big dinning hall, unlike anywhere I've been before. Service was not the best. We had to wait for a table and it took a long time to order food once we got a table, even though the place didn't seem overly busy. However the food was very good. We ordered a pizza, would have liked to try more on the menu but wouldn't go back due to the service.

tried the homemade cola and chips, homemade cola tasted... interesting (not for me) but the chips were of generous sizing and very yummy and crispy and not too ridiculously filling

staff were nice, though the actual process of ordering food was a bit awkward if you haven't been here before - you basically just wait after choosing a table really

prices are a bit high, but worth it if you're keen for something different

I absolutely love this place it's great, you don't need to book but may have to wait a while for a table, but so worth it. Open till late every night 11pm Mon - Thur and 12pm the other nights.
I will say it is a bit expensive to eat here so be prepared. Pizza's are delicious, but gourmet there is no ham and pineapple and so are chilli tomato mussels. They have friendly staff and it is a very entertaining enviroment

Good atmosphere, ciders and beers. circus performer whilst you eat. Great chips ( not the usual pub ones ) and pumpkin pizza. The chocolate mousse tart is to die for and will make you go back for more

Really tasty selection of beers and ciders. Great atmosphere and spacious surrounds. The food is quality but in my opinion is too expensive. From memory fries were the cheapest option and cost like $8-9.

Little creatures offers a unique bar meets social venue and has a great variety of fresh, simple and tasty meals such as pizzas and bar snacks. The beer, cider and Wine choices are great and the vibe is buzzing particularly on a Thurs, Fri and Saturday night. Great place for Birthdays and group meet-ups (be sure to book).

It was really nice on a sunny day to sit out the front where the comfy couches are. The cider was really good and service was fine. I enjoyed it and will be returning again.

We live in a small apartment and decided to have our babies 1st birthday at Little Creatures. It was fantastic. We had a large table with 8 adults and 5 children. We ordered food to share and kept the beverages flowing. We all had a great time. The atmosphere was fun and the service was excellent. They were happy for us to bring a cake and the staff didn't flinch even though there were children constantly under their feet. Best of all we could walk away with no cleaning up and the rest of the day to enjoy. Highly recommended if you're looking for a place to keep both kids and adults happy!

not what i had in mind when we came here for a farewell breakfast on a sunday morning. the reputation of Little Creatures in Fremantale leaves this one in fitzroy with a lot of work to do. rushed, unattentive service, lacking on their tea/chai and coffee and boring, flavourless meals even with their gorgeous menu options. great space for families, kids and large groups, a beer or snack perhaps but not much more.

It has a great atmosphere, little creatures on tap and a pretty great menu. Went with some friends recently and had a great night, the staff were a bit frantic but we were all served in a reasonable time. The cider is great, will be back there soon!

I've never eaten at this bar! But I've had catch up drinks quite a few times and the place is gorgeous and the drinks are fantastic! There is such a relaxed, friendly vibe, I've had strangers come up to talk to us, a real holiday atmosphere!

This is a great pub/restaurant although it gets extremely busy so don't hold your breath on being able to get a table at peak times, especially in big groups. The food is nice and the beer selection is very good. It is very Melbourne (especially the waiters and waitresses) and well worth a visit.

I read the other reviews and I totally agree with them. It has a great atmosphere - sometimes can be a little noisy and crowded but I suppose thats all part of the atmosphere.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! One of my favourite places in Fitzroy for sure and it ticks all the boxes for me. Fantastic food, great atmosphere, great selection of local and international beers and wines and the staff are friendly and provide excellent service.

Great atmosphere and good food. I have visited twice, it is always so busy though and both times we have had to wait for a table. The wait staff are friendly and do their best but it can be hard to get their attention when the place is packed out. Ideal for a casual lunch or dinner with friends, would definitely recommend unless you are in a rush.

Great place to hang out with friends during the day. Food is excellent and there are lots of it! The waitstaff are very nice and very understanding. They do get very swept off their feet though during busy times (re: weekend nights).

The only drawback is that if you're there during dinner, it gets very, very loud. The hall-like structure makes everything echo which is exacerbated by the loud music. So if you're going there with a hard-of-hearing person, it's not the best place to have a conversation in.

Perfect place to go for a casual catch up with friends or family, especially if it is a large group. Servings are generous and there is a lot of choice, so everyone from the salad lovers to the burger lovers will be happy.
It is run by a brewing company, which carries into the theme and atmosphere of the venue. A range of quality beers and ciders on offer.

Fun place to be at, it's always busy. They have the whole range of Little Creatures beers on tap which I am quite a fan of. They also have food, but I am yet to partake of, but judging from the menu looks good. They always have a limited edition beer on tap which is quite special.

Great atmosphere and mix of people. The food is amazing! Perfect place to go after work on a Friday!!

I love this place. The highlights for me are the Dhal and the Pale Ale; honourable mentions go to the potato pizza and the burgers (which they run as a special regularly).
It can be a bit loud when busy and it echoes when empty; but this is due to the shape of the space. This has improved recently as they have filled up the interior with "interesting things".

Staff are invariably friendly and responsive. It's also a favourite with my kids; they love getting given chalkboards and chalks to draw on when we go.

There are also games you can get from behind the bar; handy if you fancy a game of Connect 4 before going back to work after lunch.

a must if in fitzroy. enjoy an afternoon drinking beer and snacking. great merch too. only draw back is the dining hall is loud. on a busy night it is difficult to hear the person sitting next to you and frankly rather annoying! go on a sunday afternoon.

I have been there twice now and always enjoy the beer, however the service is a bit lacking. The atmosphere is quite good, although a bit loud. The menu is quite fancy though affordable and you want find the traditional pub meals like parmas or burgers on offer.

If I could I'd give this place 3.5 stars. The Little Creatures Dining Hall is big, and with the size comes the noise. You'll have to raise your voice to converse with your mates but it's not too loud (as in nightclub doof doof loud). The food is standard, but the beers are great! Prices for both are reasonable. I quite like the open atmosphere of this place and I find myself wanted to stay longer when my mates are ready to pub crawl.

Went here for my boyfriend to taste the beers, I liked it to....service was great and very polite staff........no lolly waters or spirits just beer and wine ......

Little Creatures is a great big beer hall with a great atmosphere. All the different varieties of Little Creatures beer are served, and this gives you a great opportunity to try the different beers. The small "pony" sized beers are a great cheap option, and allow you to taste all the different kinds of beer. This bar also offers a good selection of meals and even offers bikes for hire! It's a great place to take a group of friends for a relaxed night out.
