You can't beat the prices and quality of the dishes here - a favourite of the UNSW student class, it's great for something cheap, quick and good. I recommend the combination XO rice plate as a must as well as the egglant hot pot.
Approximate cost: $10-$20
Extremely good prices - around $5 a person if you have a group of 4. The portions are quite large, a main can be shared between two people. The service is poor unfortunately. If the wrong meal comes up they refuse to replace it with the correct meal. Also, the restaurant is quite dirty; the floors and walls are greasy and stained.
Kingsford Chinese is a great restaurant that serves great food at low prices. It is always packed and sometimes you have to wait for a table but it is well worth it.
It is centrally located and the food is always fresh.
Approximate cost: $10
Love going there for a fulling dinner. Food are great. The menu(including the price) has never change ever since i first visit this place 10 years ago. The only difference would be the dishes has became less portion obviously.
A place where there's always people outside waiting for a seat. The food is very nice, very tasty. I think for the portion, it's very worth the money. The soup is free too. But the service is not very good.
Quality of the food served is better than average as compared to most of the other nearby Chinese restaurants in the suburb. That said, service and price are just so-so - if they were better and more competitive than the other restaurants, it would be just so much more worth it...
Approximate cost: $7
