We have just started at killester and so far we are beyond thrilled with the school. Being a part of killester feels like being engulfed in a hug. My daughter is behind in her studies and they are working when her independently to bring her up to speed. Although apprehensive about the change, she has settled right in and the girls have embraced and welcomed her into their friendship group. So pleased to have made the change and so proud to be a killester parent. Well worth having a visit

I've been to this school for quite a while now, and honestly, I cannot stand this place. Some students are ok, most of them are just rude people. This is probably one of the worst Catholic schools in Victoria.

Went to this school and while there can be things to improve on such as more allergy friendly food, it's pretty good. I couldent stand other students... all about drama. Teachers can be pretty amazing only a few shabby ones that are very if it's not my way it's wrong ( mostly the old fashioned teachers ) school offers counselling if you need that kind of support, there are many committees and you are always encouraged to do your best.

How well you do is 100% based on your attitude, I know that when I had a crap math teacher I decided not to listen to her and to teach myself and by grades went from D to C+ 's and B's.

Provide a chance to do every elective and in yr10 you choose what you would like to continue.

It's a pleasure to have been a part of that community [redacted due to generalisations] But all around the school is affordable has a good education system and does their best to support every student. I remember being so proud of being a killester girl and begging to go to the shops in my uniform to show off the school I went to.

Approximate cost: $2000

I heard that a teacher from Mt Waverley might be coming on staff. Apparently he is really an expert and really friendly

For a private school, the price is reasonable and quite cheap when compared to other private schools however, the school isnt the best. The teachers are extremely friend; with exception to some. Nice students too. The atmosphere here is nice and comfortable.

I'm a current student at Killester and have been going for many years, it's an alright school if you think about how you much you pay per year. The school is decent and the teachers are alright but there are some shoddy ones who will bring your grade down! Other than that, there are some really excellent teachers who make the school really worth going to. The friends you make there will be long-term, trust me!

Overall, some might say it's an 'eh' kind of school that forces them to learn about religion. And I say 'yeah! It is a CATHOLIC school.' Try not to listen to them. This school is pretty decent.

FYI, 'Ester Junior' is actually named after the original cat (who was her mother) that went off one day and came back pregnant. The more you know. That cat is dead now, but oh wells.

Approximate cost: $2000-$2500

Being a student at Killester College, I've come to realise that I am very lucky. Many of my other friends complain about their own schools and teachers thus causing them to hate school. However, in Killester, the atmosphere and the teachers are so nice. Literally you can become friends with them and as you ascend through the year levels, you actually do.

My high school. Nice teachers, nice students. When you enter the gates, the atmosphere just changes. You feel at home, as if you never left the house in the first place. This place accepts most students that apply. Very friendly Catholic community. School fees quite affordable compared to others near it.

My high school. School Fees are affordable compared to the other private schools around the area. Great, friendly catholic community. They accept most students. They've been running for over 50 years.
