JS Tech Melbourne

I bought a screen for my Son's Mac 4 months ago and received it after a 1 month wait. After taking all due care in connecting it up, it would not start up so I tried to email and call them for a month with no response. Eventually I got in contact and they said to send it back and pay for postage. I sent it back only for them to accuse me of damaging the connectors (Sending me a photo of a damaged connector which could have been any connector) and then stating there will be no refund or replacement, and I will need to pay for postage to return the broken screen. Its been 4 months now and my Son still doesn't have a PC for school. Don't ever buy from these people. They do not provide good customer service and I think their products are defective.

Should be called BS-TECH

Screen came with a slight hairline crack under the screen that we did not see until it was installed with the full backlight on.
After about 1 hour, had a small black dot on the screen.
After about 24 hours whole screen was black and unusable.
Contacted JS Tech and shipped the product back for a replacement.

They informed that issue was caused by installation and not a faulty product.
We have replaced 100's of screens and had no issues
Seems a strange coincidence that the first part we buy from JS Tech was the first time we had an issue with installation!
After asking for the issue to be reviewed again and a replacement or refund supplied, they gave the same message and informed they would sent the screen back to us - Um why its broken and of no use!

Would not recommend these people to anyone, noted on other reviews that other people had issues as well, so our fault for not doing due diligence when looking at getting screens from another vendor i guess.

Anyhow, would recommend that you purchase items like this via EBAY, Amazon or another seller that has good online reviews and a better dispute resolution system in place, in case you get a dud.

Seems they have a local seller in Australia, but all cheap stock is coming from China.

A very disappointing experience, gave them the chance to do the right thing and they didn't, so a lot of business lost from us as we do about 10 screens replacements a week.
