A really great place for a quick take away lunch on a small budget. For $3.90 I do have to say that the chicken salad roll with bbq sauce I had was pretty tasty and extremely good value for money! The chicken was delicious and the bread was really nice (fresh, warm, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside). The salad was pretty nice too but I think I was just expecting the sauce to have a bit more flavour. The place seems very authentic and the lady who served us was lovely. I shared the roll with my daughter and she loved it and wants to go back! I will definitely be back to try another sauce (or maybe ask for more sauce & more chilli) or the fried rice!
A nice little bakery. Try the long rolls - they put hot chicken and salad in them. Pick what you want, they'll do it in front of you. They're so tasty, and a real bargin. Not quite in the hub of camberwell, but worth walking to.
A little Asian bakery. They have a range of hot food, drinks and sweets, but best of all is their rolls. For around $3 you can get a yummy chicken and salad roll, among others. It's always busy at lunchtime.

This place is insane. It's like downtown Vietnam, fast as lightening service, cheap and always packed. I had the salad roll the other day and it was half made before I told her what I wanted. It's pretty good for $3.40, not sure about the roast chicken that goes in it, suspect it's full of fatty offcuts...Anyway, this joint is great for a quick cheap meal.

Jenny's has a cult following in Camberwell (particularly corporates in the area). Don't expect good service at Jenny's, but do expect that for less than $3 you can get a salad roll, fresh made in under 2 minutes. The cakes / sausage rolls are cheap and cheerful (and that goes for quality too), but still delicious :)

Last week I bought a piece of carrot cake and on opening the bag found some "carrot" bits were green!! Ewwwww. I stopped eating and the following day I went back and advised one of the staff about my dodgy find. Her response seemed most unsatisfactory in that all she did was apologise!!!!!!!!!!! No attempt at all was made to check the carrot cake slices for any more "green" carrot bits...which I found rather troubling.
