The burgers here are great! We had lunch and both had chicken burgers which were made fresh and had great ingredients. Unfortunately after waiting over 30 mins (we were the only ones there when we ordered) the burgers never came! When we checked with our waitress she admitted shed not put our order in. She was very apologetic and offered us free drinks to compensate. Luckily the Healthy Hen and the BBQ chook burgers were worth the wait!

Java Blue has recently changed location on Macrossan Street and unfortunately the quality of the food seems to have changed with it. We have eaten here before but on a recent visit to Port Douglas it was very disappointing. The coffee was ordinary and simple things like toast or fruit bread seemed to be just supermarket bought and wacked on a plate. They are right across the road from coffee club, but we thought we would give a local business our custom instead of a chain. They will need to improve if they hope to keep regular visitors to Port coming back.
The other disappointing thing about Java Blue was the WIFI service - minimum spend of $10 for only 1 hour of WIFI!! What a rip off.
