The Ivanhoe used to be a place where you would always get a 100% class A meal. Unfortunately the menu has shrunk and the past two times my family has dined there will be our last. Too expensive for a very ordinary meal.

Stopped in had a drink on the way home. it was a saturday night they were busy. Food looked great and was leaving the kitchen fast. bar service was fast and nice placce. Well beer is fresh and cold.

Have been to the Ivanhoe a few times food is okay plenty of it. Drinks are good also. Can get busy on Friday and Saturday nights. Bookings can be made and they recommend it also.
They have plenty of parking also which is a great thing.

We've been going to this place for many years now. We often go with our Entertainment Book vouchers & get great value - but are happy to go without vouchers too as their meals are very generous! Big variety & good ambience!

This is one wonderful bistro which caters for all tastes, the menu is very extensive and the food is top quality.
I have been many times and each time, my dinner guests and myself were pleased and cannot say anything but compliments
Staff are friendly and efficient.
I cannot comment on whether the desserts are nice to eat, as after having my main, I am too full to consider anything more to eat!

However recently I attended and were told in a rather rude manner by a staff member that there are no toilets available and I can go down the street and use the public ones! Seriously uncalled for being so short with me - a paying customer.
Well needless to say after being spoken to like this by the staff member, we left and took our business elsewhere!!! NOT IMPRESSED!!!!! and I shall not be returning there for a meal!
Great big bistro/dining area - room for prams/highchairs. Meals were brought out quite promptly, food was hot and tasted good. Desserts could be better.

Multi level dining area,with window seating for a nice view. An outside area for nice days. Plenty of room. Great atmosphere.Staff are very helpful. Wide variety on the menu, a specials board, seniors menu and a kids menu is available.Good place for family dining. The size of the meals was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious and from order to delivery at table was about half an hour. Recommend going for a night out

nice place, nice meals place has recently improved due to change of management and I really do enjoy every time that we go there have taken many people and they also enjoy it as well

I go there when I'm after some reasonable pub food at OK prices as the 2 of us can always get a table. It's what you expect and has a reasonable selection.

The Ivanhoe Hotel is spacious and caters well for large bookings. I recently had a work function here and the staff were quite friendly and efficient. They have an extensive menu and also include daily specials. The Rue Bar is attached to the Hotel and provided an area to go and sit down and have a drink after dinner.
