A really cute cafe inside a terrace house with a white picket fence. Feels like you are visiting a friend's house! Inside, it is a cosy house restaurant with beautiful hardwood floors, neutral walls, and high ceilings. The historic victorian style is updated with chic lighting, a beautiful wooden bar and colourful artwork hung throughout. If you feel like sitting outside, there is a small porch area. Otherwise, the inside space offers lots of tables, is light airy & spacious.
The food menu offers a good range of options. Nothing ground breaking just reliable old favourites such as blueberry pancakes with fresh blueberries & lemon curd or smoked chicken salad for the more savoury brunch inclined.
I enjoyed a very pleasant lunch here today. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. The cafe is nicely decorated and has a welcoming atmosphere, it is also very clean which is of the utmost importance to me. I chose the slow roasted lamb shoulder, with quinoa, pearl cous cous, linseed, cherry tomato, eggplant and romesco. This dish was absolutely exquisite and cooked to perfection. Their coffee is also very good. I will definitely be back.
I love places that serve breakfast through lunch! Poached eggs on toast, beans and avocado was just heavenly! Great little place a client referred me to last week, staff are friendly and interiors are simplistic and much like their food high attention to detail!
