Love this place!! Delicious ramen every time. Would also recommend the buns if you are extra hungry. Price is a little high but nothing unexpected from the city.

Ippudo does the best ramen! One of my favourite things to eat. I usually go for the Shiromaru Motoaji - a classic ramen in pork tonkotsu broth. The Akamaru Shinaji is delicious too, incorporating miso and garlic oil in the soup.

For entree, the pork buns and salmon aburi are delicious, and for dessert I can't go past the matcha brulee. I would like to try the black sesame pannacotta next time :)

Located on level 5 of westfields if I remember correctly, Ippudo is a japanese food place. I have only been there for lunch but they also do a dinner menu too.
I sampled the vegetarian noodles which was about $14 and included a topping of avacado, tomato, cucumber, cornflakes, nuts, greens and the noodles had a sesame, balsamic type of dressing to them. I was in heaven! such flavor and aroma. I am now wanting to go back there again.
Food was prepared in a timely matter and by friendly staff and i think at good prices too!

Ramen lover's rejoice - this is a great place for Ramen in the heart of Sydney. Located inside Westfield's food court, this place does get busy!

I had an "akumaru" ramen which was about $16 for a generous sized bowl with noodles, pork slices and miso soup broth! They also have lil steamed pork buns with lettuce for about $4 - they are small and fun to eat. Lots of flavour I found inside the buns. My kids enjoyed them with the fried chicken and pan fried asian dumplings.

The decor is modern with seating inside or within the booths or long communal table. Pricing is abit exxy, but that's expected considering your dining inside Wesfields's food court. I would happily dine here again, lots of great food options!

Essentially an upscale ramen bar, this place always seems to be full. The ramen's very good, if a little expensive, but the signature dumplings always steal the show for me. The service is pretty good for the most part, but there was one time when a waiter became a little too insistent, which was irritating.

If you like ramen noodles then then you've found the right place. and the dumplings are very tasty. My favourite thing to order is the braised pork buns, which are similar to the ones at Momofuku. The service is great and its a good place to have lunch.

one of the best ramen in sydney. located in the westfiled cbd. the ramen noodle is very thin noodlw which i loveee . it is so different with other ramen place. the soup is very delicious too. the pork bun is very nice as well. the only downside is the price which cost around $20 per bowl and the queue was long but it is worth the wait.

In pitt street westfield. Must say best rajmen noodles ever had, the price was abit unfair compared to other japanese restraunts. But the food was delicious along with the generous staff that helped me order. Unless your willing to pay go try it out

have been there once, the place looks nice so i decided to go (actually that was 2 month ago) and ordered ramen ( i can't recall what flavor) but yeah it is not on the same level as "Menya Noodle Bar" or "ichi ban boshi" ... so yeah probably not the best place to go for ramen.. perhaps other food is alright like the other's said eg "pork bun"

If you are into Hakata style ramen, Ippudo offers that and slightly more. The main types of ramen offered at Ippudo are shiromaru motoaji (tonkotsu broth, noodles, vegetables and pork loin); akamaru shinaji (tonkotsu broth, miso, garlic oil, noodles, vegetables and pork belly); and karaka men (tonkotsu broth, spicy miso and minced pork) and a couple of other non Hakata style ramens too. The menu also offers a small variety of salads, rice dishes, a la carte entrees and desserts.

An all-time favourite of mine is the Ippudo Pork Bun to start the meal and a bowl of shiromaru motoaji or akamaru shinaji, with an egg as addition to the noodles.

Price-wise, Ippudo tips on the slightly higher end. However, taste-wise, it's pretty close to what one can get in Japan.

Must admit (to me anyway), best gyozas and pork buns in Sydney, but not the ramen. The interior of this ramen outlet remains me of the restaurant in a Japanese department store!
Very soft and juicy pork buns! The eel rice is tiny but it still filled you up as the fish is pretty oily (in a nice way). I find the ramen only so so especially with that price tag. Will return but not for ramen.

Ippudo is a new ramen restaurant located within the Westfield in Sydney City. My colleagues and I have came here a few times for lunch and there is always a long queue. The waitstaff wouldn't give us a table unless everyone is present. We ordered the Shiromamru ramen noodles which is the pork base broth. The ramen soup is very delicious and we drank all the soup. You can choose whether how chewy you would like with the thing ramen noodles. We also ordered some gyoza to share. The portion size of the ramen is quite small and we were actually not very full. The bowl of noodles isn't cheap but there isn't much in the bowl. We haven't even finished drinking our ice water, the waitress has already placed the bill in front of us due to the long queue waiting. But due to the delicious soup and convenient location, we will go there again.
