Internode is an Australian owned company which offers a wide variety of internet plans, depending on your location and internet usage needs. The plan options are extensive, simple to understand and extremely well priced. Internode is one of the few Internet providers who dont' require credit card or personal account details (though these options are available to those who prefer this). B-Pay options (transferring money from your own account into theirs) and month to month accounts and service, make Internode a far more amenable and user-friendly Internet provider than any other in Australia. Accounts are emailed at your choice of monthly or quarterly. There is also a 24 month contract with a zero sign-up fee for the completely cash-strapped. Internode ‘churn' at a discounted rate for those who wish to switch over immediately.

There are no extra charges, no hidden fees and no charges for excess usage so you know that what you pay is all you will ever have to pay. Excess usage is shaped back to a free, slower speed. The option to purchase further pockets of download/upload as needed for around $5 (you won't need it!) is great for high traffic users. One gets precisely what one pays for in every plan, be it Home or Business, Wireless, Naked, Bundled, Fast or Extreme. The GB's available for money out-layed are massive and guaranteed.

Customer service is exceptional with friendly, down to earth staff who work in the individuals best interest. Internode's call back service and email ticketing system is efficient and deletes time-wasting frustrations. One never feels rushed when speaking with staff and no matter how inept one may be with computers, technology or internet tools one is never made to feel dumb! Internode staff will talk you through everything from plans, to set up and any query or difficulty you may be having. They will openly discuss all options available to you and work out which plan best suits your individual needs. One can change/ upgrade/ downgrade plans at any time. There is no marketing pressure, ever. An emailed internode bulletin (optional) keeps one updated should any changes be upcoming. With friendly, efficient service that is always available and prompt; their call back and ticketing systems are fabulous. In three years I have never had a drop out or disconnection, ever!

Best internet service provider (ISP) that I have been with so far. I'm currently on a 250gig download (Uploads not included) Plan that is relativly cheap. I get free downloads from STEAM, which I use a lot and they are always up in the high 1mbps. I'm currently on Naked Extreme ADSL2+ Big thumbs up for Internode.

Love this company, they care about the little guys, the only reason i left unfortunately is that at the time having moved house I needed to go wireless which they didn't have back then.

Internode is a premium ISP, their prices are not the cheapest and their quotas are not very generous compared to some, but what you do get is a local helpdesk that is very responsive, you rarely have to wait long on the phone and if you do, you are offered a call-back service. I have been with them for around 5 years and my connection rarely drops out, I just wish they would increase their quota on some plans to be more competitive.

My wife and I have been with Internode for many years now for our home ADSL connection. They also host my business website.

Their service has been second to none - no overseas call centre, just prompt and helpful service. Their technicians know what they're talking about too.

They may not be the cheapest, but they are the best value for money.

I've been with Internode for quite a few years. Great provision of excellent internet services, and on the few occasions I've had to use customer support they have been very helpful. Even late at night, they have called me back on my mobile to walk me through issues. They are maybe slightly pricier than other companies, but the reliability and options are the best I could source

Internode are simply the best ISP I've ever been with. The products they offer are outstanding, the service is first-class, and having been with them for the last three years I can see it's no wonder they're now considered a market leader. I could never be convinced to go back to Telstra or Optus again - they can't even come close to Internode.

Have never had down time, speed is fast and no problems whatsoever, very god customer service. HUGE download limits. I have even switched our phone lines to them after a disastrous time with Optus. Best thing I have ever done.

This is the first WOMOW review that i have given with 5 stars. I have been with internode for about 2 or 3 years now. I originally signed up with them because they were the cheapest. Since being with them, I continually check out other service providers to see if I can get a better deal, but I haven't found one yet. I even had an optus representative knock on my door to convince me to change, but when he heard how much I pay, he admitted that he couldn't match it.
When I have to call internode for something, they have an automated callback, so after being on hold for a few minutes, I can leave a message and they will call me back. I like that after using my downloads, it doesn't cost me anything extra, the speed just slows down. If I use it all up, i can buy a data block (which is essentially adding a little extra downloads to that month) I also bought a tivo today, and internode has unmetred downloads for tivo. Internode also have a monthly usage metre that sits near the clock on your computer. This tells you how much downloads you have left against how much time. It means that it is easy to tell when i need to ease off the downloads to make it last, or when to download heaps of stuff so i dont waste any!

Internode are great at what they do, looking after everybody and making sure your queries are always answered as promptly as possible. Products are quality and they care about the country users more than other mainstream internet providers.

I churned to Internode from TPG two years ago and haven't looked back. After five years of weekly drop outs and exceptionally poor service with TPG, Internode is a dream. I have not experienced any issues at all, good old fashioned quality service. I have not needed to call support since connection. Everything just works. $40.00 for 5Gb, invoiced monthly. No contracts, heaps of free unmetered content. Very happy thank you Simon.

I've had both ADSL and ADSL2 with internode on both the Casuarina exchange and the Darwin exchange. They have the best customer service of any ISP I've delt with and their product is very good. Good latency, good speeds, little if no down times.
Currently have 3.5Mbs up and 800Kbs up. I've over 2km from the exchange in Darwin so these speeds are very adequite.

myself and some friends have used this ISP before but have found their charges to be a little high and often charge 2 or 3 months in advance, their service is good but customer support and billing is not the best

I've been with Internode for a couple of years now and as an ISP they are second to none on quality. Dropouts are rare, the quality of service is impeccable. The price may appear to be more than others but you do get what you pay for. The company is always looking ahead and is constantly in communication with their customers via email and also on the whirlpool forums. I am a satisfied customer who has only once had to call them regarding upgrading to ADSL2+ from ADSL 1.

Internode provide a reliable Internet service. They pride themselves on their excellent network, and with good reason!

They have flexible plans which allow you to add data or switch between plans and you don't get stung with silly fees or nasty contracts. Once you experience the Internode service you'll never want to leave.

Internode are NOT the cheapest ISP out there but they have excellent customer service with support staff that actually understand what's going on. Another great part of Internode's service is the lengths they go to to fix issues and keep you well informed.

While I think you pay for it, the quality of Internode's service is second to none. We've been with them for around 10 years now. For the first time EVER recently they had a glitch in the system and we were without email for a weekend. ONCE IN 10 YEARS. That's damn fine service if you ask me.
Their telephone support staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and sales staff will quickly help you to make changes to your plan if you wish to do so.

Wireless Hotspots throughout the city/ state/ country are awesome!

Great service. Great pricing choices. Have been with them for years and never had a problem wit them. If you have a technical problem and find they are busy you can leave your phone number and they will call you back so you don't have to wait on hold.

Have been subscribing to their ADSL 2+ service and I must say it's been very good with minimal disruption to their service. I've only experienced downtime once in the past 2 years. Their non-metered content is great and they do not count upstream traffic towards your download quota. You also have access to Citilan hotspots around Adelaide.

in general, ASDL is pretty much the same as other providers. The only difference is that you have to pay quarterly and the roll-out of ADSL2 is quite slow. As technology advances, it should drive cost down but instead they increase the price. In comparison TPG is slightly more expensive but there is a higher download limit.

We have used a few providers in the past but Internode is the best for value and service. Internode's value added peering and free download server is great. Even when Telstra caused interruption Internode resolved the issue as promptly as can be expected.

Have never had any problems with this ISP. Setting up a wireless network for the first time and configuring the modem to access the internet were a cinch with the instructions provided. When you call their helpline (I had to once when the service was down - but it's only happened once and lasted about an hour!), they have a neat callback service so do you don't have to wait on hold at all. There might be cheaper plans out there, but Internode are worth consideration for being so reliable and uncomplicated.
