I was fine using IICT as an insurance provider until now, 2 days ago they made an unauthorised direct debit in a foreign currency in HKD which is a zero amount however they failed to let us know by email (in writing) that they were testing direct debit from their international account which was not authorised by paying members to agree to the testing. There were a few of us expressed concerns in their Facebook group and I had to tag them to read the thread. I sent them an email of my complaint and the head of members services apologised and stated that they are expanding internationally, without making any suggestions in improving their processes and notifying their members who are paying for their services and salaries. They said no one raised any concerns which is false because they replied back in a previous email they they were aware of the Facebook post thread. They didn't want to deal with me anymore and sent a generic message hence my negative review of this company. I have taken my business elsewhere and I have been recommended AON or GSA in case you're experiencing issues with IICT. I have told my healer community about this too because no one should have their card direct debit regardless if it's zero, it was unauthorised and this should be reported.
So far so good. Have not needed to claim so I can't speak of that. However, sign up and communications have been prompt and friendly.
