Took my daughter here recently for a birthday party. The party room was a little small and crowded. However out on the ice rink they had a blast and the staff were very helpful. Would be great if they could some how segregate an area for the not so great skaters. But other than that a great place!
Love ice skating was a bit tricky for the kids but a great day out and always nice to escape the heat
Took the kids here for a birthday party and it was great. Kids had a ball it's absolutely massive. Great cafe to keep warm too
Went here recently for a couples date night. If you want something funny and entertaining - GO HERE! Too funny watching the wife and her friend fall on the arses. But good for social outings.

Took my wife here for our monthly suprise date night. It was so much fun, the actually entry fee was reasonably cheap. And it was very clean. The staff were were fun and up for a laugh. Will be bringing the kids next time.
Good place to take the family although it can get expensive if we all go. Temperature is good inside and the skates you hire are in good condition. Lots of seating for those viewing. Plenty of space.
Hubby and I went here for a date night and it was amazing fun! Very affordable and staff were friendly and helpful when we were choosing the right skate size. I mostly hung on to the wall however they do have little penguins you can skate with at a cost of $5 each! Didn't want to bruise my ego using one as mostly kids were using them haha
Approximate cost: $15 plus
Great place to take the kids at $11 each it was affordable, the staff was very helpful with us as we had never skated before they had us off on our own in no time, my daughter enjoyed the games they play at the end of free time, looking forward to visiting again awesome place to get out of the heat.

we took the kids here for skating lessons and a birthday party. we even had a go again at skating after quite a few years! the partys are great, well thought out, usual party food, pizza ,pies etc and drinks. the lessons are detailed and the kids enjoyed them whilst we sat on our butts on the ice more than skated lol its a great place. on a hot day too ,gets packed at times on weekends ,you can have sessions or all day passes which are more worthwhile. great atmosphere and thoroughly enjoyable for any age
Approximate cost: $17
sounds super awesome
I enjoy the excitement of ice skating at Ice works Boondall. The staff are so helpful and we have so much fun, especially when we fall over. Thank you for your review.
In my opinion, this is the best rink in Brisbane. It is very clean and tidy looking. Staff are always polite and friendly.
They run public sessions and are a great time whether you can skate or not. The sessions go for about 3 hours, if you get cold you can go into the cafeteria, which is warm and has a TV. They run several games during the sessions and give an allocated time for experienced skaters.

in all the years I have been coming here it has not changed that much , I love this place and the prices have not changed that much either so give them a go you wont be disappointed as I am never when I come here

A group of us got together and headed here for something to do one afternoon. Only one person in the group had been ice skating before so we were all a bit nervous, but they are well set up for all levels of experience. It was quite quick to get in and booted up. At first they just let people muck around and then they ran games. A few of us even managed to participate in some of these our first time. It was a fun afternoon and the centre is run efficiently.
If you're looking for somewhere inexpensive to entertain the kids, this is the place. We go regularly on a Saturday afternoon and it only costs $14 for kids for 2 hours of ice skating for the kids, which also includes games where they can win prizes. I've seen quite a few birthday parties celebrated here. There's a coffee shop, which is nothing to rave about, but it's great if you want to have a read and a coffee in warm air conditioning. The staff are not very pleasant, but that has never managed to spoil our fun.

I go to Ice World at Boondall all the time. Every time I go the experience just gets better and better, maybe that's because I'm ice skating much more fluently since I took a few lessons from some nice staff. I think they have some amazing value $17.00 and that includes skate hire and normally 2 and a half hours of skating. They have a warm room which also happens to be the cafeteria where they sell loads of goodies, some of which are a little overpriced but overall good. I have to say though, sometimes the skates you end up getting are a little smelly but most of them are fine. They offer a skate school and birthday parties. One of my friends had her birthday party there and it was awesome. I always have a blast when I go there with Friends. Amazing Experience!
