HV Indian Restaurant

HV changed my opinion of Indian style food. Absolutely delicious and definitely the best I’ve ever had. All dishes cooked fresh and to your liking. Staff are fantastic and very reasonably priced. Do your self a favour and try it.

Best indian food in the valley!! Always fresh, aromatic and perfect blend of indian flavours. We love the comfy atmosphere and the friendly service. Highly recommend this restaurant, must try baingan bharta (eggplant curry) and butter chicken!

Freshly cooked Indian food to your taste. As good as it gets and I have eaten at Indian restaurants all over Australia and in London. If you think you've had good Indian food, you haven't until you've eaten here.

Have never eaten in only take away but the service in my experience is second to none. Nothing is to hard and if ur not sure what u want there is always a suggestion according to ur taste and is never wrong. The fresh spices used every time make the dishes. When u walk in the smell of the cooking food is just amazing. I would strongly recommend either eating here or getting take away if u love amazing Indian food.

We go there for the great indian food because it is prepared fresh and will be made to the spice level of your choice.The restaurant is a simple style but the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the place always smells great with indian spice.

I especially like that all food is prepared fresh, and not precooked like some places. Friendly service too.

I am not Indian but I love Indian cuisines. I was looking for an Indian restaurant in Latrobe Valley and finally found HV last night.
The food was great and I enjoyed it a lot. Warm and friendly environment in HV restaurant was so valuable to me.
I absolutely recommend HV to any body who is interested in Indian Cuisine.

This is our favorite Indian joint. Pick any dish from their different menu, and you will be blown away by the taste!! A cosy ambience and very friendly staff. The chicken shahi is a must try dish!! I highly recommend this restaurant for all Indian food lovers and people who want to try Indian cuisine!!

Looks can be deceiving. Looks like a very casual place for a quick meal but the food is amazing.

Don't let the appearance of this restaurant put you off, the food here is excellent and addictive. Yes the decor is a bit off putting and lacks the flash of other places. I think its because the chef puts all his energy into the food. Very cheap and very quick. BYO only. The chef is one of those Indian chefs not keen on the hot stuff so if you like it HOT don't be afraid to ask for HOT....MUST TRY....CHICKEN JALFREZI!!!!!

Yum is all I can say! I am not a big Indian fan, I have been to a few & it has been horrible & put me off trying again. But not last night, it was delicious! We had Butter chicken, saffron rice & garlic naans & they were all yummy. The butter chicken is by far the best one I have ever tried...we got take away & servcie was fast & friendly - order was done in 10 minutes. The smell of the restaurant was delicious, all the sprices, made my mouth water! We will definitely come back here again!
