I've been dealing with Cath from Housekeeping WA for over 3 years now, using them alternating between fortnightly and monthly cleaning service when required.
I can't speak highly enough of Cath's management skills, she is very accomodating to my schedule and to any changes that are required.

I've had 2-3 different teams over the years but one thing remains consistent, they are super friendly and super helpful each visit!

I wish I had checked into reviews of this business before buying $10k in prepaid hours for cleaning services for our 3 airbnbs, residential home and commercial premises. Too late I found the 1 star reviews across several platforms from customers who experienced what I did. I realised as I looked through the 5 star reviews many are posted by the company's foreign cleaning staff and not actual clients.

Over the several months of service I felt firstly concerned that our usage of hours was being fudged in housekeeping WAs favour. These were either deliberate or careless miscalculations that would have been costly for me if I hadn't been carefully checking and correcting them. There were incidences of double bookings & no shows & the company is very slow to respond & not clear in their communications. Surprisingly they asked us to buy more vouchers long before we had run out, saying prices would go up, but didn't bother to check first if we were happy with the service so far! We weren't going to buy more after we used up what we had already bought.

We had quickly found that only 1 of their cleaners did passable work & even she agreed with us that every other cleaner in the company was untrained & and she didn't want to work with them. I offered her to work for us directly so we could pay her more & cut out the problematic agent, but she said she couldn't. So we started contracting other freelance cleaners.

After hiring someone else who turned out to be much better, we were trying to use up our last $2k prepaid vouchers with HWA on busy days where our new primary cleaner couldn't work. It was on the next booking that HWA sent 2 people to a 1 person job without our authority, & then billed us 9 hours on what was actually 4 hours of ordered work. We knew this for a fact as it was the average time taken every other past clean over 5 years, plus our warehouse security camera footage revealed the cleaners standing around doing nothing most of the time.

That last day they left chemicals to dry on our tiled floors & trier to blame it on our new freelance cleaner. When my husband discovered the cleaner and her +1 standing around staring at the floor he said they could go as they were wasting paid time, they then accused him of yelling at them which was untrue.

The manager still insisted we should pay $200 for this unordered non-work even when sent the security footage. Then they threatened not to refund our unused $2k because we had offered their 1 decent cleaner freelance work. They said it was in their contract we could forfeit any amount of money for this, but I never received such a contract, so I said I would go to ACCC.

So they did issue refund to my satisfaction, but in a very rude manner and it took a month to receive, all the while I was fairly stressed it wasnt going to come. Housekeeping WA makes me wary of any "Family Owned Business" as there is no corporate structure to make sure they're honest. I certainly will never trust a small business enough to prepay for services ever again.

Customers who give negative reviews to this business are labelled 'bully' and 'liar' by this business and they willl try to discredit my honest review rather than taking on any responsibility. They've never once even politely apologised for the bad accounting & service or the poor quality of most of the cleaners. I do have camera footage & email proof of everything stated above & happy to provide if my statements are challenged or credibility attacked.

Charles has just cleaned our light colour pure wool carpets which have, admittedly, seen better days.
I was impressed by Charles' knowledge of cleaning solutions and most importantly; what not to use! Charles installed corner protectors to ensure walls were not damaged by hose lines. All equipment and accessories brought into the house were clean (no soiled boots or oily rags). Suction equipment and waste water are housed in his truck, so you won't have someone trudging dirty equipment through your home. An excellent, thorough job on our carpets which dried quickly and evenly. Charles was a pleasure to have in the house, I'm pleased with the results, and if the other team members are as thorough as Charles with their specialty I will definitely be using Housekeeping WA for all future home detailing. Highly recommended. Fair pricing.
