I have recently returned to the UK having visited many of Australia's main cities. I have eaten pies all, over Aus and have to agree with the young man who served me at Hamlet's - "these are the best pies on the planet". I had a steak and cheese pie - yum yum!!!

These are the best pies in Sydney without a doubt. They are always excellent quality, freshly baked and great variety of pies. The favourite is definitely the Pepper Steak which is filled with generous real chunks of beef in a pepper sauce that is fairly hot. Great location, always busy yet the staff is always friendly. Great experience.

The pies might be great but the coffee is lousy.
I had a flat white there today and it turned out to be terrible; a cappuccino without without the sprinkle.
And the taste; I don't know what brand of coffee they use for it had a slightly bitter taste.
