The quote was competitive, the cleaning was done to an exceptional standard — every nook and cranny was spotless. This is a classic case of if I could leave no stars I would. I engaged Halwest for an end of lease clean. They did a reasonable job, however, my realtor was not going to release my full bond as there were some minor cleaning issues such as a stain on a blind and the shower was not properly cleaned. I spoke with the staff and the cleaner returned promptly to address the issues. The cleaner inspected the issues with me and I was told "these stains account be cleaned, it is impossible." I asked them to have a go, as the company guarantees your bond to be returned. Returning to the flat the stains were still there. It turns out it is possible to remove the stains if you scrub them, which I did. Contacting their office, no compensation was offered and it turns out their guarantee is just words. I would give this company a wide berth.

There were some cheaper quotes with similar inclusions but I was prepared to spend the extra as the property needed a really good clean. Super impressed with the standard of service provided by this company. Quote was clear, arrived on time and the cleaning done to a good quality.
I needed a company to do my end of lease clean and thankfully came across Halwest. Very prompt and professional.
DO NOT HIRE THIS BUSINESS!! I hired them for a vacate/end of lease clean for a 4x2 house including windows inside and out. I got a phone call the morning of the clean advising they would be 1.5 hours late. It was over 2.5 hours before they showed up and then claimed to have "finished" the clean 1.5 hours later. No windows were cleaned. Cobwebs were left in the bottom of cupboards and those cupboard floors weren't cleaned. The rangehood filters weren't cleaned - when I removed one, dead bugs fell out. No spot cleaning was done on walls. When I complained to the business owner he arranged for the cleaner to go back to the property. Again they were half an hour late. All she did was wipe over surfaces with a wet rag leaving water smears over all surfaces including windows. No squeegee was used on the windows and no drying off of the wet surfaces. No flyscreens were removed to clean the external windows. The owner claimed this is stated in their terms and conditions, however, these were not emailed to me as per the information on their website that they would be included in the confirmation email.
I have used a number of cleaning services over the years and this is truly my WORST experience ever. Use anyone else apart from this business. No property manager would ever accept this standard of cleaning when handing back a property at the end of a tenancy.

You are correct in that the cleaner did return to the property after I complained about the extremely poor standard of cleaning. As stated in my review, the cleaner was late AGAIN. All she did was wipe over surfaces with a wet rag leaving water smears over all surfaces including windows. No squeegee was used on the windows and no drying off of the wet surfaces. No flyscreens were removed to clean the external windows. I never received a copy of the terms and conditions. I had to go hunting for them on the website.
After the second failed clean, I contacted the company again and was basically told that the poor standard of cleaning was only my perspective - even though I had photographs of the dreadful job done. My husband and I had to completely re-clean the property before it could be handed back to the real estate agent. Every day's delay cost us extra rent so we couldn't continue to get these pathetic cleaners back to ineffectively clean this property.
I fully stand by my review and strongly encourage people DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS.
