I used Halogen DJ's for my 20th Birthday last weekend.
We required them to come in last minute as the DJ I had booked cancelled on me two days before my party.
They responded to my phone call, explained how the music would work and waited until I got the final word about the price.
They came in way before time, spoke to me about the music and took requests through the night.
I wish I had found them first.
I've already recommended them to my friends.

I Hired Halogen DJ's for a Party.
They were really easy to talk too.
Each time I called to speak to them, they answered promptly.
On the day the DJ was before time and had everything set up over half an hour before time. He played all the music that I wanted and my guests seemed happy as well.
The payment was no hassle at all.
I will definitely use them again and recommend their service to people looking for a DJ service.

We hired Halogen DJ's for our Wedding.
The service we received right from the first phone call, through the constant emails and on the day was simply amazing.
The staff could not have been more accommodating or friendly.
We received a variety of music that we were able to pick out and hand over to the DJ on the night. The DJ worked the room and had everyone dancing for hours. He was also open for further requests on the night.
They brought the sound system and the party lighting that they promised.
I'd definitely recommend to book them for any event, especially a wedding.
The DJ was one thing I didn't have to worry about.

Hi, We hired Halogen DJs for our Engagement party. The admin staff were fantastic. The DJ was also fantastic and accommodating. We passed on a music list to the DJ and he played all the songs requested as well as some of his own songs. Our guests loved it and were dancing for hours. It was the best night of my life and we have already booked Halogen DJs for our Wedding.

We used this company for our wedding and they couldn't have been. The dj had a great taste and really read the room well and got everyone off there feet for the whole time. He was a great MC and really meant we didn't have to worry about anything for our wedding day.

Horrible. Called up to hire equipment, called back 10 minutes later to cancel. I was told I would be charged a 50% cancellation fee. Was not informed of this until I called to cancel - I was not sent an invoice nor terms and conditions with this in writing. I asked to speak to the manager - when they finally got back to me and I explained the situation they said that "it takes us time and money to process orders". While on the phone, checked my bank balance - I had been charged even before the phone call was over.

We hired one of their DJs for a formal function of 150 people and he was a ‘no show’. It left me in an embarrassing position when I had to tell the guests there was no entertainment.
I would have called to see where he was but they don’t give the allocated DJ’s mobile number out so you can’t contact them to find out what is happening. I had to call the company the next day to find out what happened and found that they had booked him in for the wrong night although my paperwork clearly showed the date of the function. They didn’t even give me a courtesy call when they discovered the error.
They also incorrectly quoted me because they didn’t realise the location of the function, although we did tell them. We also were told that they only take cash, which is bad for a corporate gig because you can’t get your company to pay them directly.
Overall, poor experience from an amateur service that resulted in embarrassment. Didn’t even see a DJ.

we used them for our wedding, they were so helpful leading up to it, answering our questions and very helpful staff. on the night, the dj played well and got people dancing, he took requests and did a wonderful job interacting and making everyone feel comfortable, we didnt have to worry about music at all it was great

Hired Halogen DJs for my wedding and they did a fantastic job! Everyone was dancing and he truly made the night a special one. I also required MC services and the DJ was confident, funny and good looking (or so my bridesmaids have said!) Will definitely recommend to people I know.

Fantastic Guys!!! Found them to be more than accommadating to my requests. Plenty of music selection..and the lighting was good too. I got what I was promised. Everyone commented how fantastic my birthday night was. Have referred alot of family & friends to these guys....I defintely would not hesitate to recommend you. Thanks Guys :)
