I shop here several times a week, usually just for the basics that you run out of from day to day such as bread and milk and fruit. I have found this IGA to have wonderful specials on from week to week, sometimes the prices beat the major supermarket specials. Overall the company's prices are a bit higher than say woollies or coles prices, but a great store for the basics or their specials. Staff are always friendly and always willing to help you if you need it.
I went n got baby food n strawberrys n my baby food was a gd 6 days out of date wasnt to happy as iga is ment to b a fresh food store u can sell it redussed before the expiry date but u cant sell it days after ecpeashly YOGURT!! but other then that the staff r nice well mannerd n always had a smile

now, i only live around the corner from the hackham west IGA (also known as"rexies") and every time i get money i go shopping there, the staff are so nice, the manager, rexie and his wife, are also very kind, the service is fast, and the price are moderatley low, i reccomend this iga for your shopping :)
Prices are a little expensive for the area, but the store is convenient and the staff are generally pretty good. It is one of those good old reliable corner stores. I've been going there for years when I get stuck for something and can't be bothered going to the supermarket. The owners are very involved and supportive of the local community which is a plus too.
