Gutter Goblins

I first contacted Gutter Goblins mid way through December last year. I primarily wanted all my downpipes cleaned out, the downpipes being clogged and backing up the system. They said they had a package deal for $220 which would do the gutters and downpipes.
I knew 1 of them was really bad, and I said to them if they needed to cut the downpipe to fix it, go right ahead and I will piece it back together.
On 9th of December they did everything else but 1 downpipe, the one I mentioned above, and they said they would be back out the following week to finish it off. They never came back due to weather, but never booked me back in either.
The next time I contacted them was on the 27th of January to see how things are going. He said he would get back to me the next day and never did.
The next time I contacted them was on the 3rd of March to see it either had been done or there is a plan. His reply was ill get to you tomorrow.
I asked for a solid date, to when it was going to be done. This is where they gave me attitude in regards to them doing if for "free" even knowing that it was a part of the agreement from the beginning. Quote in their words "I will gladly be there ASAP if you would prefer we charge".
So the 9/12/20 to 3/3/21 and I was the one being unrealistic?
Further more I paid a plumber to do the job properly which cost another $200.
This is the lesson I learnt. Pay the extra for a plumber, it might have cost me $300 to $400 for a plumber, but the job would have been done correctly straight off the bat.
