This is the best selling site I have come across - if there's anything you want to sell that you don't need anymore just pop it up on Gumtree! It's so easy to use and you will usually hear back from interested people quite quickly. I was able to sell a lot of old furniture I didn't need anymore in just a few months through using Gumtree. Highly recommended!

Nothing is cheaper than free! Gumtree is a great way to sell and buy. You can search by location, and there are heaps of different categories. I found my housemate on here :)

Good website for homewares especially. Searches are filtered well (you don't get a whole lot of stuff you're not interested in) and you can choose a location which is helpful

Gumtree is great. I put an item on and the next day I had 2 responses and the first one to meet me bought the item. No fees ..... local area feature makes a quick sale / meeting a reality and no postage costs.

Much preferred over ebay. Simple ads, easy to make, and NO fees to make an ad. Plenty of responses to my ads, and a large amount to shop for. Only concern is, there are many people who will text you with scams, if you supply your number on your ad. Be aware, but they are usually easy to spot. As long as you keep an eye out, its an absolutely amazing service.

Gumtree was excellent. So much easier and quicker than using ebay. I haven't had any unwanted emails or phone calls and my posts were viewed by a lot of people. Sales have been made quickly and so easily. I love that it's free.
