Staff friendly been going there on and off for years went back after a while food and service still great :-) highly recommend still do hand cut chips not frozen ones.

Don't bother!!!! Got our order wrong 3 times undercooked it and took 45 minutes ... Never again

Clean environment, good communication and friendly too, great oh and s and the food mmm fresh and average prices and most take out stores :) next time I go I'm trying the mars bar Kim mentioned

When I moved to Sebastopol I had to find nice new takeaway stores and the green parrot is the nicest fresh tasteing fish and chips and they do my most favorite deep fryed mars bars the price is pretty good $5 for a really big pice of fish and the lady's in there are so lovely it's a great clean fish shop

I moved to the neighborhood a year ago and have started eating at the Green Parrot a couple of times a month. The fish and chips are mostly pretty good. I haven't found bones in the fish. I've had a steak sandwich which I enjoyed. They have breaded onion rings. I don't find onion rings very often and I do enjoy them. They have benches to sit on while waiting for your food. They have one little table with magazines and 2 folding chairs. I've asked and they said I could sit there and eat my dinner. The batter on the fish has a nice crunch as do the chips and onion rings. The only time I've been disappointed is when I've taken them home. When I get home they are still warm but the steam has taken the crunch away. That's why I like to eat there. I have always found the staff friendly and helpful.

It's nice to be greeted by name, in person & on the phone. After 5-6 years of Friday night take away, this is our favourite. Easily its been our preferred choice for the last 3yr and the service is lovely. Pick up times are accurate, delays are nominal and the burgers are always decent size (two hands!) We've always found the fish cooked well, fried or grilled, and pieces accurately advised as boneless. Good variety of extras, good drink selection

This is our local Fish and Chip shop. We have been using it for at least 10 years, it has its ups and downs, sometimes the chips are great other times not so. We have been a bit dissapointed that there has been a price increase. Fish and Chips are no longer a cheap eat unfortunately.

I had a very unfortunate experience at this takeaway shop on Monday. I've been here before and it's been great, so I was very surprised.
I ordered a grilled flake and chips, which were both very disappointing. The fish was around 20-25mm thick, and would have served better to drive on instead of tyres. It was extremely rubbery and chewy. I ended up throwing it out, not even good enough for the dog :( The chips were also very dry and rubbery. Overall an extremely disappointing experience from a shop that used to be great....
