YUM!! This place has so many delicious flavours to choose from, it is hard to decide! The gelato here is so good, it is really creamy and tasty. They also have a range of fruit sorbets that are to die for. The prices are comparative to to most gelato places but I think this places Gelato is nicer than most

Everyone knows Newtown has great food options but they also have great desserts on offer as well and Gelatomassi is one of these great places! The store is small but don't let that put you off, they have great and interesting flavours like my faves cherry ripple, chocolate brownie and mango and coconut cream to name a few. They also offer sorbets which my daughter loves like lychee, green apple and raspberry. The gelato is home - made, fresh, so tasty and they also offer gelato cakes where you order online and pick up in-store. Coffee, cakes, waffles, shakes and smoothies are also on offer. Will return as this place is a family favourite when in Newtown!

WOW! What a selection of gelato. What more can I say!? The gelato is made onsite which is obviously a bonus because it's fresh made every day. I'd have to try every flavour but that may take a few years. Will definitely go back for more!

Every ice-cream flavour at Gelatomassi I tried on the weekend was delicious! I can see why people drive to Newtown just to visit this ice-creamery. The My favourite flavours were the chocolate brownie and the mango. My friends and I ate inside at one of the little tables, which was rather enjoyable. The customer service was friendly and the prices are standard, but the flavour choices are simply awesome! Highly recommended!

apple crumble gelato! need i say more...I am all for chunks of things in gelato and so far this place seems to have the biggest variety of chunky ones..

usually after a concert its hard to find a place open late at night in newtown but the gelatomassi is the place to stop over and is always open for a great coffee and sweets and also the gelato is to die for so many flavors love the mango and lemon ge;ato and great service

The gelato is good.. just as you would expect at a place like this, the prices are the same as everywhere else. The service was great though, they were very friendly.

Good service, generous portion and freshly made dessert especially the Mango and Lychee gelato; staff are friendly and helpful. They also offer take home packs for those who live far away from Newtown like myself.

Generous servings, mouth-watering and very satisfying. Warning will give you a headache if you're unsure of what flavour to choose from... all looks so desirable

These guys are great. The gelato is mouthwatering and of a very high quality, with lots of flavours to choose from. I would definitely recommend this place, and it is packed in the evenings which says a lot. The decor is modern and funky with a nice blue theme. I love to drop by here after a dinner, it's relaxing. They also do coffees and milkshakes.

Amazing taste and delicious fresh Gelato. Been there many times and always got impressed. It is now school holiday, my kid has already reminded me many times to go there again.

Must agree with all the other comments. I''ve only been there just recently as a visit, but were duly impressed. There are some shops that will give you that look if you ask for more than 1 taste test, but these guys will just keep doling it out!
And there's a nice big table at the back for you to sit and enjoy.

Delicious gelato, and friendly staff - even when you ask for a taste-test. As with most gelato bars it's not cheap, but worth the money. Take home tubs are great.

The absolute best gelato shop ever!!!!! We adore this place, they always have the best range of flavours, they make everything from scratch and you can tell - it tastes amazing! The best part is you can even take it home - we buy tubs from them so we can enjoy our favourite gelato all week! We also get birthday cakes made there and they are unbeatable - so much tastier than normal cake and they last longer too. The service is great and the guys who run this place are really friendly... we can't get enough of it and couldn't recommend it more highly!

Best gelato in Sydney so far. Can't have dairy products so I always go for the sorbets, I love mango and passionfruit! Taste is real, and fresh, not "chemical".

Really nice icecream, 1 scoop for 3.50. Smiley, friendly staff who give you a hello and a goodbye. I got the chilli chocolate, nice, thick and creamy with a bit of a bite to it. Sister got the vanilla bean (a lemon sorbet fan usually) and was not too sweet for her sorbet tooth, brother got the lemon sorbet. YUM!

Love it love it love it. Great ice cream, i highly recommend the coconut, oh so good. If you really like the stuff i suggest buying a $10 tub, much better value for money as getting to small kids cups roughly cost the same

Best lychee gelato ice cream ever. Have looked around and these guys do the lychee flavours absolutely divine. Customer service was always friendly plus for every 10, you get one for free. other flavours were quite nice too in particular mango, coffee, coconut as well as watermelon.

great franchise store. recently, they have the cheescake flavoured gelatissimo, and whilst i thought the chocolate range tasted better, it was still delicious. the seating is abundant.

The BEST gelato in the world! Lots of flavours. Good prices. They also serve coffee and some cakes. Excellent service - the staff remember customers and always have a chat. Some outdoor seating.
