Took my Honda Accord Euro in to get the drivers side door lock repaired. I tried to get a quote from them in the case the whole 'thing' (didn't know the term, being of the non-mechanical type) needed replacing but they insisted they won't know until they've pulled the door apart, so I'd have to leave it there with them. They called back later that morning and advised the replacement actuator cost was $220. I took their word for it and approved the repair, but a week after (with the old actuator in my hand) researched the cost of the part myself. So far, I can't find anyone selling it for more than $40, with some suppliers.
