Fringe Bar

Fringe Bar is a positive place, where you can relax a bit and enjoy. The mood is perfectly fine for an evening, particularly a weekend evening. First, I need to mention the quality of food available at Fringe Bar Paddington. They simply rock the party with steaks and ribs. There are a lot of other options as well. The drinks menu is no less either.
Fringe Bar is a pub with a reasonable food menu as well. You can choose to dine or wine on Fringe Bar. You can either enjoy the live comedy shoes, the party atmosphere with disc jockeys and dance, or simply enjoy all sorts of drinks. Fringe Bar is perfect for individuals and groups.

This is a cool little bar with great decor. They do reasonable deals on the drinks and the bar food is pretty good. The upstairs is nicer than downstairs but can fill up quite quickly. Service is fine.

The food is snappy and the drinks amazing. But what stands out is the staff. If there is something that is an icing on the cake for Fringe Bar, that has got to be the staff. The stewards and attendants welcome you with a smile. They are simply so quick. Your order is delivered in no time. Now, that is some service.
Well, there are many drinks which are worth recommending. But in general, you can try out almost anything. There are some items which are indeed spectacular. The tossed salad is healthy and perfect in taste. It tastes fresh and you are immediately transported to the Mediterranean. The steak and the pasta are fine too.
One more point which requires mention is the attitude of the bartender. While there may be a single person behind the counter at times, still they try to keep pace with the demanding crowds with a lot of patience. Great going, mates!

There are many kinds of bars I have been to. But Fringe Bar is truly spectacular. There are so many distinct qualities about Fringe bar Paddington, I could go on for hours and hours. Not only is Fringe Bar one of the few places in the whole country where you can literally make merry with all the folks from all over the city. The drinks and the food are literally enjoyable.
The menu is also appeasing. You can have a variety of salads, ethnic pastas, freshly tossed salad or a steak BBQ roasted according to your preferences. And all of them are conveniently priced. Twenty bucks is the maximum you need to shell out if you are at the Fringe Bar.
The ambience and the décor are perfect. Everything is just lively.

I have been to the Fringe Bar many a times and love hanging out there with my friends. The basket of wings & pitcher of beer is irresistible. Do come here during happy hours.
Apart from drinks, the rest of their food items are excellent too. Their menu has an extensive variety of foodstuff. The macaroni & cheese is yummy! I just love it. They have a decent variety of wine & beer as well.
I usually come here during weekends – Saturday nights are mostly spent with friends here in Fringe Bar only! It's really fun to be there. I feel relaxed..!!

I came at this place with a group of 6 friends last month and we truly had a blast... that was the first time I went to Fringe Bar and was very much unsure as what to expect, but let me share my experience:
ï‚® Ambiance: Very relaxed.
ï‚® DJ: Breathtaking, particularly when the early hip-hop starts blowing up.
 Drinks: Quite easy to get drinks – kamikaze shot was absolutely delicious; Gin and Tonic was good too.
ï‚® Bouncer: Two to four bouncers are always there to protect the customers.
ï‚® Bathroom: Very hygienic and clean
Perfect place for partying all night!!

Highly appreciated this Bar when I went there this past Saturday! The bar attendant was very attentive and courteous, even though she was the only person behind the bar getting the drinks ready for both crowded bar and the servers. I found it very reasonable too. The station has 4 different celery, garnishes, tomato juice, fresh horseradish, spices, and about more than 35 different hot sauces. It's absolutely great!

Later, we went back for the dinner and the waitress was very chivalrous, checked on us quite a lot of time, and got us food promptly. I would surely go back to the bar this Saturday... Guyz, highly recommended!!

As other reviewers have pointed out, its painfully average. You can eat for ten bucks, which has to be appreciated, but there are many better places to do it in nicer locations. Try Pontoon in Darling Harbour instead for a cheap feed of similar style but greater standards.

Good cheap meals of reasonable quality. 10 dollar pub meals of steak & mash, salmon are pretty good.

Average place. Nice beer with good food. Don't go there expecting fantastic food. Good place to meet up with friends but it can be very busy and noisy depending on when you go there.

This place is a bit hit and miss. The crowd there is great and the decor is really different and interesting - think splashes of warm, velvet red, black and white framed photos, candles and even a animals head mounted on the wall! It is cosy and initimate vibe the only thing that lets it down is the slow service. We went for the $20 pizza night and pizzas that are ordered get forgotten about so we have to re-order. Also, their cocktail specials only have three types to choose from but changes from week-to-week. My friend and I ordered at separate times and they charged different amounts...strange.

I love Fringe Bar, despite often having to Queue for a while for drinks. They have a few separate areas in which you can hold functions. If you want an area for yourself and your friends, booking is advisable as they do get very busy, particularly if you don't want to get there early. I've been to a few functions here, and also to the Fringe Bar Markets which are definitely worth a look on a Saturday afternoon. I've ordered cocktails, along with standard drinks here, and prices are good for a bar of it's quality.

It does get very loud and can be difficult to hear others talk, but it makes for an enjoyable night.

They do serve pizza's and other barfood which is quite good, all for around $10 - $12.50

Came here for dinner and a few drinks. Prices were standard, and though the food tasted fine, the service was quite slow and we waited quite awhile before the food came out. Decor is fine, and i'm sure it could be great fun on a Friday or Saturday night.

We want there late one night (about 2am) when everything else seemed to be shut and it was pretty full (but not so full that there was a queue) and there was dancing to some funky electonic music and a guy live on the drums. Shuts about 3pm. Would also be a great place for a drink when it is quieter.
