I have been dancing at Forever Dance for nearly 3 years and couldn't imagine my week without walking up the stairs at the Richmond studios. The teachers are amongst the most professional, fun loving and caring people I've ever encountered. I consider myself so lucky to have been coached by many of them - and special kudos to my glorious teacher RJ - who have a knack for pushing me and making me feel supported all at the same time. The positive vibes within the studios are addictive, as is the feeling of dancing the night away at their many social dance nights. I can't imagine a more wonderful place for a social dancer to be!

I've been coming to Forever Dance in Richmond for many years, on and off - the team are sensational and really flexible with my erratic timing needs! In March this year I decided that I was finally going to learn to dance, something I have always wanted to do. From the moment I walked into the studio at Camberwell I felt very welcome and comfortable. Teachers are all very friendly, professional and treat everyone with respect.
I have a fantastic teacher, Lui, who is very supportive, has great communication skills to answer my many questions and also challenge me when I need it! Lessons are really fun and its great that there are many social events throughout the year.

My wife and I started at Forever Dance on my retirement nearly ten years ago. We have enjoyed the experience ever since. The staff are great and the atmosphere always friendly and supportive. Our rather advanced years are no limitation.

I went to Forever Dance modtly to keep my partner happy. I was nor really an enthusiastic student . However two months later I was just that! I was surrounded by supporting people who loved being there. But most of my enthusiasm is due to the gorgeous patient and encouraging Lara who has the most charming way of telling you that you could do better. It has been nearly a year since a friend and I decided to dance. The initial idea was to have some fun and exercise, little did I know it would lead to an addiction, of the very best kind. I am having great fun and exercise but joined to that is the delight in mastering a step, dancing a Tango or Waltz, these are joys I did not know twelve months ago. All of the instructors are professional and very well trained but to my point of view the most important quality is they all have a lovely attitude and outlook that makes for a friendly and inviting atmosphere where all, from dance novices to the highly skilled, feel welcome and that we are all members of a club. I have met some great people on the group sessions and the social dance nights are fun and well organised. All I hope now is that my very tolerant and humorous teacher Jason lasts until I am an old lady and I promise to practice that box step til then.

I have loved ballroom dancing - doing and watching it- and the music, for a long time. At Forever Dance the teachers are very knowledgeable and develop your skills from the level that you're at. There is a good balance of challenge and enjoyment, and, while you are encouraged to push for goals, there is no undue pressure. The dance nights, cabarets, ball nights and Grand Final nights are lively and fun and professionally run. There is a lot of commitment from the staff and so much encouragement.

Approximate cost: $66 per 45 min lesson + extras

We were complete novices and had tried one other dance studio (once) in Melbourne which we did not enjoy at all. Forever Dance is, in reality, the only studio we have used. We have now been attending for 2 years and are extremely happy with the quality of teaching. This should say everything, really. Our teacher, Kate, is excellent and the other teachers are all friendly and welcoming. We can't say if this is the best studio in Melbourne because we don't have any desire or need to try somewhere else and compare. Forever Dance gives us everything we want - and more! We recommend them. Enough said.

Forever Dance are very professional in their teaching and organisation. The quality of teaching is very high.

I am new to Forever Dance and have been with them since the beginning of January. Only my sixth lesson with my awesome and beautiful teacher Kate and I am progressing in leaps and bounds. It is fun, highly social and I already feel like I'm part of the family. I actually can't wait for my next lesson when one finishes. I go out on a high every lesson. Thank you Forever Dance for fuelling my passion for dance and making it such an enjoyable and rewarding experience. My husband and I were interested in learning ballroom and Latin dancing. We had an introductory lesson with Sam about six months ago, and from the very first visit we were immediately impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. We look forward to our twice weekly lessons and have enjoyed several opportunities to dance socially outside of the studio. I would highly recommend Forever Dance Camberwell to solo dancers, couples and those who just want to impress their wedding guests.

the standard of dancing from the students who give performances is amazing.all the staff and management are friendly and try to make everyone involved feel part of a family where all are important no matter ,age, shape, disability or talent. The social dances are fun and everyone tries to be patient with non dancers. they soon learn.

Having danced for a couple of years, many of years ago with my previous partner, I was a little apprehensive coming back to dance, especially walking through the front doors by myself at Forever dance Camberwell, which was a little daunting. However from the moment I had my first lesson in January with Jacqui who constantly amazes me with her ability to get the very best out of me with a mixture of serious dancing time and jeovial banter, it has been a fantastic experience. The comradery between all teachers and students really is great, and whilst there is a time to be serious about our dancing, there is a real family and fun atmosphere, which is thanks to the efforts that each and everyone of the teachers make to chat to everyone who walks through those doors. As a result I am glad I made the decision to walk through those doors and I know if anyone else decides to dance, walk through these doors as well cause you wont regret it..

Special thanks, of course, to the lovely Jarrod, my amazing teacher, and choreographer. He has his special way of balancing patience with me (when I'm in my "analysing diagnostic" mode), and firmness with me (when I'm in my "sloppy technique" mode), steering me to create that "perfect picture". It is unfortunate that I couldn't stay longer to do the Ballroom medal, an Exhibition (or two), and work my way up that ladder of achievements, as I know the journey would be such fun.

Thank you to Jena, RJ and George, by whom I have had the pleasure to be coached at the technique group classes. Thank you also to all the fellow students, your passion on the floor (noted by my friends who came on Medal night) and words of encouragement are invaluable.

The medal night was definitely a highlight for me, not only in achievement, but also a testament of the wonderful FD family spirit and support.
Forever Dance has a special place in my heart, and on my return to KHS (Karen Hardy's studios) in London, my dancing will reflect the high standard trademark you have instilled in me.

I walked into the studio nearly four years ago for a couple of lessons! I had no idea what a fantastic time I would still be having. Sam and Mathew are so patient and an added bonus has been meeting a fabulous bunch of people who share the dedication and hilarious experiences at Forever Dance Camberwell.

Forever Dance in Camberwell is terrific. The teachers are expert, professional and friendly. They make learning lots of fun. And the studio is well set up, and convenient, with lots of parking nearby.

I cant believe that I have been dancing at FD for 3 years now! After dancing almost my whole life and trying all different styles, I have never enjoyed dancing more or been more challenged than I have been at FD. The private lessons mean that you are constantly being challenged and pushed to your own limits while developing great relationships with your instructors.
The dance school is extremely welcoming to all students and strongly promote their social scene through group performances, social dancing and group classes and frequent comp, medal and social dance nights.
The staff are amazing!! Patient, professional, fun, each a little bit crazy and a joy and inspiration to watch dance.

Why Forever Dance, people ask me?

When I joined Forever Dance it was to lose a bit of weight and to learn a few dance steps. Six and a bit years down the track, the studio has become an integral part of my life and I couldn't imagine life without it.

I like the variety and opportunity it offers me – from the activities like the social dance and cabaret events, to the gently challenging studio competitions and medal tests. I love having private lessons with an instructor. It's a bit like having a personal trainer who helps you work out and develop your dancing skills all at the same time. You learn at your own pace, it's always fun, and whatever hang-ups you may have –from falling over your feet to ‘feeling funny' about dancing with strangers, your instructor is there to help you.

The Forever Dance owners and staff are amazing! They work incredibly hard to make you feel welcome and an important part of the team. No matter what you need – lessons, advice, safety pins for wardrobe fails, hairspray, coaching, a shoulder to cry on or an encouraging word, it's easy to turn to any one of them for support.

I love Forever Dance! I've been taking lessons there for four months now and am so impressed by the quality of this studio. They host a range of great events from social dance nights to cabarets and medal exams. Forever Dance also holds practice classes and complimentary group classes on different days of the week (which means you almost don't have to leave!) This studio is a great place to meet new people, improve your fitness and have fun. The first time I entered one of their in-house competitions, I was definitely not excited about the idea of getting up in front of everyone and competing! To my relief, though, I discovered that it's all just about having fun while improving your dancing and confidence. All of the teachers here are lovely and knowledgeable and the other students are very friendly and welcoming. Your first lesson at Forever Dance is complimentary - come in and give it a go! You may just find you love it, too...

My wife said its about time I did something she wanted to do so with my two left feet we headed off to forever dance in richmond. 4 years later we are dancing like Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire (in our minds anyway!). The fantastic teachers at forever dance have been patient, supportive and, most of all, lots of fun through our journey of "so we think we can dance". Apart from learning new skills the social scene at FD is fantastic for beginners right through to experienced dancers.

I have been having lessons in Forever Dance for few years now. I have enjoyed it so much! It is one of the best things I have ever done for myself. The quality of the teachers I have are fantastic, experienced, patient and highly professional! I have so much fun there not just learning latin & ballroom dancing (which not only improve my dancing but also physical fitness) and the social scene in FD is amazing. They stage so many social functions like Cabaret, Dance Night, Medal nights.... I get to meet so many new friends there and always have great time in these functions. It is absolutely the best!
