Massive thumbs down to Flight Centre Mt. Barker!!!!
Booked a trip to Darwin for my daughters 30th Birthday, which was a surprise! Her younger sister lives there and all the family pitched in to give her a week with her sister in July to coincide with her younger sisters birthday. When I made the booking I made it very clear that this was a surprise so there was to be no contact with my daughter, and if needed all contact was to come through me!
Well........ last week my daughter received an email from the agent that I spoke to about a 10 minute change in her flight time!!!! Surprise ruined. Phoned the agency that I booked with and expressed my anger and disappointment and was assured it would be looked into and I would be contacted later that afternoon! 7 hours later I decided to call again and was told the same and fobbed off! That was over a week ago and still no Phone Call! Decided to contact the complaints department and was told it would be investigated and I would be contacted within 3 days. Day 4 now and nothing.
Everyone who was involved with this surprise are furious! I personally will never use flight centre again despite having used them frequently in the past. Thanks for nothing! Clearly you don’t give a damn about your customer service!
We are currently planning a big trip to the US next year and I have been dealing with Stewart, he is fabulous, heaps of communication whether it be phone, email or in person, always has the time to answer my many questions. The girls in the centre are also very helpful and friendly with many suggestions/ideas for our upcoming trip. We are now adding at least another week as we have discovered that we haven't allowed enough time to see everything. I am guessing an extra week may still not be enough. The prices Stewart has been quoting is fabulous, around the amount we were expecting.

[Retracted name] is so rude, never going back there again, asked for a quote for flights, it took 40 minutes to find out they were. $80 dearer, so said no thanks and she turns around as says you have been wasting my time!
Who has been wasting whos time?? No one else in the shop for the whole time.
I have never found these guys to be like this, they are always friendly and go out of their way to help
I booked our recent holiday to Melbourne here, Kelly was so helpful, she arranged our flights, accommodation, car hire and transfers to and from our hotel. Could not believe the price, we really got a fabulous deal. We will definitely be using this Flight Centre for our next holiday.
