Such a disappointment to be treated like scum by security lady "960" as she so arrogantly pointed out the number on her badge.
We have been happy patrons here for over 20 years and seen the ups and downs of how busy this venue can be.
We were so happy to see the venue pick up a bit since big supermarket owned the venue.
Just sad to see the establishment so harshly ruled by one security lady "960" to not allow people to move from the sports bar to the pokies lounge later in the evening as she jostled the keys in the lock, and then tell us we could not buy a drink in the pokies lounge because we walked around from the other bar, with such a scoul on her face.
I didn't do anything to offend. But, I'm not sure I can keep attending the venue to pay her wage.
I have always tried to be nice to her, but I find her quite inhospitable.
It's fair to say that I've never had an issue with any of the other staff. They are fantastic.
The worst!! Came here with a largish group of family and friends, they weren't overly busy however our food took nearly two hours to come out. My meal had several long strands of red hair in it. I refused to eat it and when I complained the waitressed even tried to say it was my hair (I am a blonde!) when clearly the hair was entwined in the food fro the cooking process. When I pushed a but further all I was offered was a free coffee and cake. I said no thanks, didn't want to be there for another two hours waiting. Pushed for a refund and eventually got it - I should have been offered it from the beginning.
Fitzys (as some call it but it is actually THE ROADHOUSE GRILL), make a perfect steak and chips for my medium rare tastes, have free drinks and desserts for kids and is just an allround good atmosphere.
Really decent prices, excellent meal, very friendly staff. Place was very busy and undergoing maintenance but the atmosphere was still good. Great visit, would definitely be back if were ever in the area again.
I love fitzys, amazing staff very friendly and do whatever they can to make you feel welcome, the restaurant has great food and amazing service, I will always go back to fitzys
I actually love Fitzy's very nice restaurant there's nice staff and there's great food! There's been a few good nights at the mbar i wouldn't change a thing.
Went to Fitzys years ago and definitely wasn't happy with our experience. I then received a free main meal voucher so thought why not. Wow a big surprise and definitely a lot of changes. Having a new Chef, and a good quality one, was the biggest difference. The choice of meals were restaurant quality and good sized portions. The staff were very friendly and for a change, we didn't have no problems or stuff ups of order, steak type, drinks etc. We went back a month later and the same thing, scrumptious food. The interior has been revamped so much better than the old setup. Ow and a super kids room full TVs, playstations, pillow chairs, tables, and a clown that looks after then while parents eat. Ha our kids are too grown up for this but the kiddies we saw were having a ball ...

There are POT HOLES in the carpark.. Not a good way to start off. I went there with family for dinner and ordered a coke that didn't turn up until after we had finished our meals and having asked 2 different waitresses about it. Then when I told them that I was not impressed that my drink took so long to arrive and I would not be paying as I was not satisfied with the service I was offered a free coffee which also never arrived. SERIOUSLY I would never go back! This place is a joke!!!!

If I'm going to a pub for a meal, I'm expecting pub food and pub prices. Not restaurant meals and restaurant prices. The food was ok, but not what we were expecting and ended up spending a lot more on the outing than we wanted, so we wont go back. It should be an affordable family outing, but at that price it isn't something you could do regularly and to be honest could probably get better food in a nicer restaurant. Also there are NO vegetarian meals on the menu and when I asked for something, the waitress suggested taking the meat out of one of the salads. That might be ok for lunch, but at dinner that just isn't good enough. I'm vegetarian, not on a diet!
The food is great here! It is a bit dear but the taste and amount makes up for it. Good children's menu even for fussy eaters and they love their deserts.
I 2 found it very expensive, but I love the food, scallops should not be overcooked so I enjoyed them how they were served, I went with 3 others and we all had a good night out
I didn't even end up going in. I did not believe they were charging so much for entry to a local pub. I used to frequent fitzys a lot when I was younger but was quite appalled by the fact they were charging so much, and it seemed to be empty so no one was willing to pay for it either.
excellent little place for lunch or a quiet night out, its not too full on on a friday night, which i certainly dont mind, food is pretty good to, definitly get alot for money.
When i visited Fitzy's i ate the Sweet chill scallop dish. The food was very well presented and the noodles and sauce tasted delicious however the scallops were extremely undercooked.

Fitzy's puts on a great cheap lunch 6 days a week. For around $5.00 you can have the roast of the day or whatever else is on the specials board. The meal size is considerable (I was hard put finishing mine) and the food is very fresh and hot.
