Hands down the best painter in Melbourne!!! Years of experience and it certainly shows - Endre was an absolute God send for us. He had to pick up a botched job half completed by the previous painter. Endre was trustworthy, reliable, hard working (started between 6 30 and 7 30am every day and worked through 10 hour days just to get the job done before we moved in). He is a perfectionist but also pragmatic in his approach and finds solutions to almost any issues/surprises that he encounters. Endre also made the effort to teach me a few tricks around the house (first time DIY'er) and was willing to take the time out of his day to do so. He got the job done on time within budget and to very high standard and level of attention to detail. I would not have been able to move into my house if it wasnt for Endre hence cannot commend his efforts enough or speak highly enough of him. I would definitely have Endre back for any other painting job or any other general handyman work as he is more than capable of taking on any other odd jobs around the house. This is the second time I have used Endre’s services as I was so impressed by the work he carried out last year. Endre returned to paint my lounge room and repaired two large cracks using a method of drilling and injecting with a fibreglass filler The wall looks amazing now. You can’t see where the cracks were. It feels solid and smooth and there is no more drummy plaster. The quality of Endre’s paintwork was again first class. He is professional and trustworthy. I highly recommend his services.

Endre Szabo is truly a ‘Master Painter’.
In essence, he is far more than your average ‘tradesman’ or ‘painter’ … he is an ‘Artisan’ … an individual with finely honed skills who takes enormous pride in his work … an anomaly in this day and age.
Endre brings new meaning to the term ‘professional’, which was evident from our very first meeting. He came prepared with an encyclopaedia of references from delighted clients … and I feel honoured to be now standing amongst them. His communication is absolutely outstanding … keeping us informed with the progress of the job every step of the way. Endre has a wonderful creativity, offering suggestions and advice on colour palettes, sheen levels and paint type.
We contracted Endre to paint two bedrooms in our 18 year old home that we moved into just before Christmas. There were many, many challenges involved, which Endre was able to meet after careful consideration and consultation, exceeding all our expectations. His knowledge, experience and skillset really came to the fore with the architraves, skirting boards, dado boards and wardrobe doors in these rooms which had previously been painted over with a roller, resulting in unsightly stippling (orange peel). Endre patiently and meticulously sanded away the majority of the stippling, used a ‘high-build’ filler / undercoat, together with several other undercoats, and finished off with enamel. The results were amazing … smooth and glossy. He achieved what at first seemed impossible.
Endre has a very strong work ethic. He was punctual each and every day. He has great respect for property as demonstrated by his careful tarping up of the rooms he was working on and removing his shoes whilst walking through other areas of the house. He conducts his work in a clean, methodical, organized and orderly manner. Endre is trustworthy without question, on many occasions working unaccompanied at our house whilst I was out running errands. I had no doubt that our home was in safe and honest hands. On top of all this, he is very personable and respectful. He begins work each day with a smile on his face, simply because he enjoys what he does … an absolute delight to have around!

Endre's workmanship is second to none, and his eye for perfection is reflected in the magnificence of the end result. It was a huge undertaking to not only paint our home, but also fix a multitude of sins that were previously ignored/hidden by other painters and tradespeople. He took control of the project, organising and overseeing all the various trades, including builders, plumbers, painters and scaffolding requirements. He took it all in his stride, and not once did he deviate from his attention to detail, whether it was in the "health" of the house, or its aesthetic beauty. What started off as (I thought), just painting the house, ended up as a major restoration ...with the end result (in a word), magnificent!!!
