Went to see Spider Man: No Way Home today and arrived at our seats. They were still dirty and sticky with dirty fingerprints over the cup holders and arm rests. So much for cleanliness not just because of Covid, but just for our health. If this is now common throughout this cinema then it wont be long before they are a high risk of Covid. Very unsatisfactory… :(
Gold.class, here is great though it is pricey and we only go for special ocassions when we can afford it. Along with dinner brought to you with drinks and the movie can cost $100. The Decor and comfort is brilliant. Drink are brought to,you when ever you want them. Order outside before the movie.waiting area is lovely. Nice to be a small cinema and no kids . Great for valentines or,birthday. The menu changes often but we like the sliders for around $15 and the chips are brought in a fry basket.hreat drinks on the menu too .parking is abundant in chermside westfield ,free after 6pm
great place for the whole family, budget tuesdays make it easy for a family day out with great entertainment. a lovely place clean and tidy and nice young staff on hand if you need any information
When I do go to the movies I do so at chermside, its a much cleaner, spacier set up than a lot of other cinemas around. The experience you get here surpasses that of many other cinemas! However the price to see a movie has absolutely sky rocketed lately which is really disappointing.
3 times in a row i went to movies that started from 20-45 minutes late, no apology from the staff, leaving me to have to pay for parking that should have been free. twice the points did not accrue on my cinebuzz card and despite about 5 emails and a verbal complaint I have never received any feedback from the cinema. Very disappointing for a weekly movie goer especially when the price keeps going up and up.
Approximate cost: $25
We don't go to the piccies often but when something special comes to the cinema we always go to Gold Class. I love it. It makes the night a little more special. The food is lovely and they have a good selection of wines and beers. My hubbie loves the recliner chairs. Great night out.
Approximate cost: $30
The staff at Gold class from the moment you arrive, do everything to make your cinema experience really enjoyable.
From the little bar of chocolate that comes with your coffee to just making you comfortable while watching the movie, first class service with a smile.
Approximate cost: $60
Price on Tickets is great, plus join Cinebuzz for more discounts and rewards.. everyone loves something for free. Cheap Tuesday are the best
Approximate cost: $16.50
great cinema compared to a few i have been to in the past. very friendly staff and a very friendly environment. the service is great. and the dress theme of staff makes it a fun time.
Approximate cost: $20
Most cinemas nowadays are pretty good but I still can't go past the Chermside Megaplex as it is convenient, normally easy to park at (except at christmas time) clean and tidy. I have tried all the different options and prefer the VMax as it has the best value for money when you want a little more comfort.
We enjoy going to the movies and recently went to Gold Class. Overall the experience was good, though the food is very expensive ($7 for a small bowl of chips) and really the food was not something to rave about. The cinemas are always clean, staff courteous most of the time. Will attend again.
The price of the movies there is outrageous and while I understand they need to make money at $16.50 per adult it's easy to understand why some families can't afford a simple day at the movies. The other thing I don't understand is why there is no healthy food choices to be made at the cinema..... seriously we live in a fat world and it would just be nice to have the option to buy something that wasn't going to add 5kg to the waist.
Love the cinema and the variety and the new cinemas with big seats as I hate having an obese person taking up half my chair because they don't fit, one thingni dislike is the candy store girls outfit I find them offensive and sexist. Specially when you have older women wearing such short skirts.
My favourite place to see a movie - convenient for shopping plus a very good experience. The staff are not always the best and the tickets aren't cheap but it's a good place to visit.
Approximate cost: $20
They have great cinemas, very clean. They need more people serving as had to wait a long time to buy tickets. You can buy your tickets online and I would do do in future to avoid queues.
The only place I love going to more than the cinemas at chermside is gold class at chermside! Price is abit high, but they all are. Compared to other cinemas I would say its about the same. Roomy seats and spacious areas/walkways are great
i just went and saw new moon and it was great.... the seats were wide and comfy, what can i say about the price a little more than what i would like to have paid... but i loved the movie lol
Always have a great time going to the cinema. Only ever go to this cinema now, none on the north side compare to this place. The Gold Class is always great as is the normal cinema.
we love going to the chermside cinema they are always clean staff are friendly plus there not always so packed that there is no room to move keep up the good work
Approximate cost: $15
Tried the VMax cinema for the first time last night. Smelt like leather -but that's to be expected... chairs were comfy enough, but with the thick arm rests it made it hard to chat to your friends (which may have been a good thing)
The Megaplex cinema is one of the best in the northern surburbs, being true to its name, huge and fantastic lay out with good sound system and comfy seating, an enjoyable experience for me.
Approximate cost: $14
Chermside is always a great place, but the cinemas are top notch, always clean and good lighting. I will on the southside of town and travel to chermside often to do shopping and stop to watch a movie if I have time.
Approximate cost: $15
this cinema is all ways spotless i went last because i had free tickets and i couldnt fault them in any way i even got to choose where i wanted to sit as now they have allocated seating in the normal cinema section this is great this is the only cinema complex my husband and i go to and we live closer to strathpine than chermside we we dont mind go that little bit further for great service
Approximate cost: $14.00
