We went for a family holiday here and hired 2 x 2 bedroom apartments. Although I paid the same for each of them the difference between them was extreme. I know they are privately owned so furnishings can be different but while one was renovated and modern with new furniture, the other was dated, old with old fashioned furniture. They advertise a corner spa bath with a view over Surfers Paradise as a selling feature but if you want to fill it up you better know an hour ahead of time because it takes forever to fill up. It also felt like they were watching us closely and counting us to make sure we didn't have more people than we paid for. We didn't. If anything they should be watching the group of 10 guys walking in carrying boxes of beer over us families with young kids. It's also too far a walk into Cavill Ave for it to be convenient. Definately wouldn't stay here again, there are too many far better places to stay in the Gold Coast.

We went for a family weekend away and stayed at Emerald Surfers. It was very disappointing the rooms and hotel are a little outdated and could do with refurbishment. The people that were running the hotel at the front desk seemed very unorganized and always seemed to be very watchful over us when using the Hotel facilities which made us feel uncomfortable. The pool was nice and the landscaped lawns were well above average, lovely for the kids to play on. The BBQ area was nice and provides room for large groups. If you are looking for a close hotel to Surfers this is not the right Hotel for you as its quite a walk. For the standard of this Hotel and its location I feel the Hotel is overpriced.
