Dropped into this cafe after reading about it. Our visit was just for coffee which we enjoyed. Thoroughly enjoyed the ambience and the differences of this cafe. Well looked after and an interesting menu. Quite mouth watering. Must arrange for our friends to meet there for our morning coffee get togethers next year.
Fabulously funky with a touch of rustic charm. Add to that a dollop of goodwill and the pleasant aroma of happy patronage creating an atmosphere that is the icing on the cake.
Well done to the owners of this establishment for bringing back the true touch of cafe-ness. Organic coffee and self baked breads. It's the little things that really make them stand out from the crowd.
The long black, a little bitter and slightly over roasted to start with, but matures once it's cooler either with time, or a shot of warm milk.
The flat white, bitter froth tempered with a deliciously smooth undertone. Good drinking to the end.
The brioche with home made jam. Crumbles just the right amount and is slightly warm like it just came off the cooling rack. Try and guess the jams. Subtle fruit flavours and not overly sweet. I correctly picked the strawberry, but the other turned out to be plum.
Well deserved of the star value I have provided for this one.
Worth the visit... again and again.
