Great coffee on smith st in Fitzroy, staff are friendly and there's a great little seating area outside. The coffee is absolutely delicious and all organic!

Great coffee!

Busy but worthwhile shop. Fair trade beans make it the [erfect place to enjoy a guilt free cuppa and snack. Coffee is delicious!

There is ample seating both indoors and out, and the staff are very attentive.

Wonderful staff working at Doctor Java. When I was in the area more often they recognised me and occasionally popped in a little cake which was lovely. Quality was always good and always had a spare seat (despite the store being bustling) which I appreciated.

Dr Java stands out even in a city that loves its' coffee!!
I feel weird saying that they make some of the best coffee in their area, as I personally don't really drink it and only go there with friends, instead drinking their fairtrade tea and eating their muffins, but the genuine enjoyment my friends get from their daily fixes of Dr Java convinces me.

And their tea and muffins are fabulous too.

I may have understated that a little; for some this store seems to be a religion!

This is my favourite place for coffee in Fitzroy. They have fair trade beans and great tasting coffee. Indoor and outdoor seating on corner or Smith and Gertrude. It's not a huge place but you can fit a pram if needed, and could probably get a wheelchair in without much dramas.
