My husband and I had a late lunch at Doubleshot recently. I was impressed with the menu, which included a range of super-healthy vegan salads. I was very hungry and enjoyed my delicious and filling slow-roasted cauliflower and chickpea salad, which I thought was excellent value at $15.00. It's a pity we don't get to Deakin very often, because I would definitely eat there again.
I notice they have a loyalty program, in which you get your 10th coffee free.
Would not go back again. Went a couple of weeks ago for afternoon tea with my daughter and 2 grandchildren. 2 luke warm coffees, a hot choclate, 1 juice and 2 very small pieces of cake. Cost $47 outrageous. Service was borderline average

I went to Double Shot right at opening time (7:30) on a Sunday and there were already several customers, it's clearly a very popular cafe and rightly so. The wait staff were very friendly and the service was super fast. They do fresh juices to anything specifications you like which is fun and tasty. The doughnut french toast with bacon is fantastic. Great coffee too. It isn't a cheap place but reasonably priced considering the quality of the food. Will definately be going here again.

Great customer service and largely popular brunch/lunch place with good food on offer. They have a takeout menu too if you need to run. It's usually very crowded during the lunch hour, so plan to come early before food runs out :)
Nice bistro/cafe in the Deakin area. The food is tasty though the menu is small. The staff is nice here too!

The food at Double Shot was average at best, but what really mad the overall get 1/5 stars is that the coffee is by far the worst in Canberra and I would NEVER go back.
If you want to try something different for breakfast/brunch Double Shot is highly-recommended. great menu selection catering to both savoury and sweet taste buds. A little bit more than the average breakfast but definitely getting quality food here. Customer service here is also excellent!
