Dogtainers Pet Transport

Made online booking and told to wait for confirmation. The day before the flight I rang to check - was told the employee dealing with it ‘went away for a few days and forgot about it’…. Made alternate booking a week later & pup was picked up from breeder at 6am for 9am flight. Pup taken back to breeder at 4pm (10hours later) starving, dehydrated & stressed. Phone message left saying flight had been cancelled - no explanation why pup was left in cage at airport for 10 hours….. alternate flight then booked. Pup flew from Sydney to Adelaide and was left on the tarmac and not loaded…. No explanation other than a phone message saying he will be taken somewhere and be delivered two days later. I contacted the airline who said they would take the dog on a flight that afternoon…. Dogtainers told me it getting close to knock-off so they were interested in getting him on the flight. Puppy was lodged with an unknown person for two days and I’m not allowed to know where or who it is with…. Unethical and unprofessional behaviour. DO NOT USE .

Appauling... extremely incompetent!
We used the services of Dogtainers for a same day service. We booked our 9 week old puppy for a Friday arrival at 3 pm in Hobart, missed due to forgetting vet travel certificate. Then they missed 7 pm arrival. We travelled over 3 hours from Devonport to collect at Hobart airport. Had to arrange a nights accommodation. Third booking confirmed for 9.00 am arrival. Arrived at airport... puppy hadn't been sent. It was inadvertently booked for 9.00 an on the Monday.

I don't even know how they can call themselves a business. I booked my pets to fly from Adelaide to Melbourne. Dogtainers had 3 months to book flights I had to continually call them asking what was happening. Each time I called I was on hold for 20 minutes. No one ever returned emails. It got to within a week of my pets needing to fly no one had called me asking for payments etc. So I called nothing was organised and I had to source my own kennels. Absolutely pathetic company And i will never ever deal with the again. Never return emails and don't organise anything. Good riddance dogtainers you are a pathetic waste of space.

They Cancelled my dog's flight twice then charged me 10% to refund me.

I booked my dog to come down from Brisbane to Melbourne and the flight got cancelled twice over a 2 month period. Got offered to book again in a couple of months time and when I said no sorry not waiting other 2 months please refund me. Then they charged me 10% of the original fee that was paid.

When i was on a holiday at tne islander noosa resort and took my dog bella to dog tainers let transport so she could fly to noosa with me as i did not want to drive they were very gentle with her and i had to give her a anxiety tablet as she was so so stressed but all ok

Amy, and the two handlers who looked after me and my highly anxious cats were fantastic from start to finish. Amy went through all of the options with me, working in what I needed and being super helpful.
I was stressed on the day of pick up, but the wonderful handler was great - talking to my cats in a calm and soothing manner, and seeing the two really friendly dogs happily sitting with him in the front of the van made my day! (Especially because I got to pat them!).

Dogtainers have been very helpful over the years, I have moved interstate and overseas with Dogtainers and I have found them to be very focused on pet welfare and making the moves as stress free as possible for me and my 2 cats. I just recently moved from Brisbane to Perth as my health is not so good these days I need the boys collected and then I collected them from the airport myself this end. All went well and it was much cheaper than booking with the airline. Thank you dogtainer. Debs

Called Dogtainers this week after getting the run a round from Dogtainers competitor the service was like chalk and cheese one company just wanted to get me off the phone and did not answer my question Dogtainers on the other hand answered all my questions and Maddie was so friendly and nice I later that day booked with them to move my dogs from Hobart to Brisbane. Everything went very smoothly.

I used Dogtainers to move my two cats and my Great Dane from Brisbane to Houston, Texas. The team at Dogtainers are by far the best Pet Transport company I have used and i have used 3 or 4 of the top companies and Dogtainers excelled at every point of the travel. I received photos of Ben, piper and Jesse at every step on route, emails where prompt and very professional.

The move took place last week and and I am still very impressed by the followup communications and just the professionalism of the team. Thanks to all the guys at Dogtainers and thanks for making the move so easy.

I have worked within the airline industry for many years in Australia and I re-located to various airports as and when the job takes me. I can safely say that I only trust my fur babies to Dogtainers. I have used offices from Melbourne to Sydney together with Brisbane and all offices offer great service and great prices.

Used Dogtainers 7 or 8 times now and have not had a chance to say how wonderful the team are. Brisbane, Sydney and Perth are all the places i have taken Jake my rescue Dog with me and every time Dogtainers has arrange everything. If you want great service and your baby taken care of I can highly recommend Dogtainers.

I got 3 quotes Dogtainers was the cheapest, I check all the reviews and Dogtainers is by far offering its customers the best experience. So I made the booking and couldn't have been more happy and surprised by the level of service it was great. Collect the guys on time, i got photos of the guys when they reached the other end and then when my wife took delivery. Thanks Dogtainers.

Just wanted to provide some feedback regarding my recent use of Dogtainers services. I have relocated from Brisbane to Perth, and my two cats Harry and Buffy traveled with me on Virgin Australia on Tuesday 6 August. Their longest trip prior to this has been a short car ride to the vet and back, so naturally I was very apprehensive and concerned as to how they would handle a cross-country plane ride! From the moment I spoke to a representative on the phone to book them in, until my babies were delivered to my new house in Perth, I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail that Dogtainers provided. Aloha Dogtainers, HUGE thanks are in order to everyone at Dogtainers who participated in preparing our 9wk old Akita for her trip from Australia to the USA. A trip like that is daunting for most of us humans…let alone a puppy. Used you to fly my new puppy home from Sydney to Brisbane then again last week for my Cat, we went with Virgin Australia and the service was great thank you so much.

Dogtainers and Virgin Australia moved my pets from Perth to Brisbane they collected from my house, then dropped off again at my new home after a week of boarding so I could get everything ready, Laura, Angie and the whole team did a fantastic job. The price was the same as the other pet transport people but the customer service was fantastic, you could just tell the whole team at both ends knew exactly what to do.

I used to deal with Jet Pets until late last year now I deal with Dogtainers on a regular basis. I have had no issues what so ever unlike Jet Pets. I always ask to be put through to Amy (English girl) she's a great member of staff to deal with always a pleasure to talk to, gives me best advice and options in regards to welfare of my pups. What I like the most is you can tell she loves her job, and isn't there to pay the bills! 10/10 Dogtainers!!! NEVER GOING BACK TO JETPETS!

I have used Dogtainers many times to transport my Cats and my Dogs from a Vet nurse prospective I can say that the staff at Dogtainers really know their stuff, not just sales reps which makes the difference for me. I have used these guys to transport mt pets so many times and have never given them the credit they deserve. I talk to Amy now in Brisbane who is a breeder and Angie who used to work for Guide Dogs Australia and others who are show dog judges who all work to make Dogtainers the safest and best provider by far.

Moved my puppy from the breeder to me here in Brisbane. Breeder was in Sydney and asked me to use Dogtainers as they use Virgin Airlines and are recommend by flight centre so I called and the rest was easy. No issues, no problems, great service, thanks Dogtainers Brisbane

Dogtainers shipped my Lab from Sydney to Hamburg and what a great service that was, they then got him back and delivered to my home address in Melbourne, Again cant fault the guys they are great. I got prices from other Pet Transport providers but these guys are the cheaper and the service is 5 star! Wow thanks Dogtainers.

Dogtainers Brisbane arrange for my dogs and cat to come over from the UK to Brisbane and what a great service they offered from the time Dogtainers UK came to collect till the time they delivered to my door in Brisbane 2 weeks later without a hitch and with all the fur babies in tip top condition, thanks Angie you took the stress out of my move and sent me photos every step of the way, I cant recommend Dogtainers Brisbane and the whole network enough.
