I had an extremely disappointing experience with D J Stone. From the moment we signed the contract, they continuously added unexpected fees for services that any reputable benchtop installer would include as standard.

One example: applying silicone between the benchtop and wall—a basic task that every other company includes—was suddenly deemed "extra" on the installation day. Their installer claimed they didn’t have the tools or skills to complete this simple job and suggested hiring a handyman instead, at an additional cost.

The installation itself was of poor quality, and their communication was equally subpar. Once they received the 50% deposit, it became clear they had no interest in providing good customer service or ensuring the job was completed to a reasonable standard.

Save yourself the frustration, wasted time, and extra expenses. D J Stone will nickel-and-dime you for basic services and leave you with substandard work. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your benchtop installation needs.
